"Like a $500 image of a pixel monkey, I didn't buy it" funniest line I've heard all year
Pew, pew, pew!
I actually genuinely appreciate the "All Parts" uploads, they're excellent for resting, chores and other kinds of extended listening.
Playing strategy games while listening to SCP
@@opensourceradionics Project Zomboid here, hell yea! Normally its zombie fiction but gotta switch it up.
Can you recommend some good mobile strategy games? I play rogue knight while listening to these, but I'd love some more.
Eepy time listenin
Samesies love the extended cuts
"I'm not familiar with this Exploring Series fella, and he doesn't seem like the adventurous type" 🚬 "but I gotta say he's got a good set of pipes on him, practically the voice of an angel" 🚬 "and this hellhole could do with some divine intervention"
Reuploaded as a single video for the algorithm.
Still the best story channel on CZcams bro well done 🎉 Years of Content I still haven't caught up on❤
The algorithm is working, 1st video in the line up
Always appreciate the "all parts" videos
My parents call me The Algorithm, you can just call me Al Gore.
👍
32:07 is still the best line I've heard in any form of media
Legendary
Your voice acting on this one is so God damned good
My favorite SCP series are both Lord blackwood and Murphy law, I love the Victorian new age explorer setting and the noir detective setting, great opportunities for story telling.
Thank you for this.
+
Id personally put the bellerverse before Murphy. There's just something about "post"-post-apocalypse worlds (meaning that its been so long after the apocalypse that another, though less developped civilization has developped., the bellerverse gave me huge Caves of Qud vibes where everything is weird due to both paranormal and technology.
@@marcantoinelab12321 it gave me gamma world vibes, yeah I am that old lol.
@@marcantoinelab12321i adore that kind if story as well but still Blackwood and murphy are incredible
Lord Blackwood is the GOAT. It's terrible he got turned into a seas slug...
Murphy law is my favorite, he’s literally the best!!!
Murphy Law will slap 😂
Murphy Law is one of the greatest characters in SCP. Never talked about it either.
Fr
"I suppose even trash piles like this city have peaks" 🚬 "and someone's gotta be the best of the worst"
Yet another reason to listen to my favorite hard boiled anomaly
The VIP room part was fantastic voice acting, well done
Yay, now we can howl again for this broodingly fascinating tale.
"a vaguely Egyptian woman"
I wonder what makes someone vaguely Egyptian looking
"this is Dr. Patra"
Yeah that’d do it.
Murphy's narrative slips seem to be due to Nobody attempting to change his genre, the small portable reality anchor the two O-5s used, and Murphy himself going through a bit of a mid-life crisis. He has been "Murphy" for so long, that he can't just reckonsle the life of a lonely private eye in the real world. How can a man survive months, years withouth work or pay? Without people, without a home, without any form of social life? I think Murphy is evolving into something far more fleshed out than a narrative character...he's becoming human. Lauden and Murphy might be merging into the same person.
My head cannon tells me hes a reality bender who wants tobe lost in his fantasy.
Cringe bro
He is pataphysical and the slip was due to the Scranton reality anchor.
@@zapan9643 the only cringe person here is you
@@zapan9643 pata what? dude what a nerd
@@zapan9643 silence nerd
Ever since I was a kid I was always a sucker for pulp detective stuff. This just takes that childhood love and combines it With something that I now love as an adult. Making something perfect.
A Hard hitting detective and the scp is a mix so perfect yet so weird
I'm so glad you did this one! Your voice is perfect for the "Film Noir" style.
Hard hitting drama in the middle of the night!
Of all the SCP videos the Murphy Law episodes are my favorite
Yup, it is that time of night again... 3 am EST.
Love Film Noir and SCP stuff so this is perfect combination for me! Also the first background song, "Private Investigator" was used in the "Narrate" games in Whose Line Is it Anyway. Instantly recognize it!
I was recently listening to a retelling of Fred, the self inserting character, and was thinking that he needs to be involved with pataphysics, or maybe one of the Murphy Law stories. And then, what do I hear? Eight minutes in and Murphy is talking to his friend, "Fred." Apparently my idea wasn't original.
I love this storys feel, glad its both combined. Thanks for another great one!
I know this is just a re-upload but as a full story. But hell yes let's go boys, we eating good today
Pataphysics, mystery and Mr Law all mashed up into one of the finest SCP files to date absolutely fantastic and brilliant!
I somehow missed this the first time it was posted! Also, I don’t think I’ve ever posted this, but your Murphy Law narration is some of my favorite of your work. It’s 👌👌👌👌
AWESOME! I am going to enjoy this tale in one sitting while waiting for my appointment. Hehe, thanks for the video, you rock!
This channel is just the best. Not only does this guy have a great voice, but he really brings out what makes these stories entertaining. It's one thing to just read story verbatim, it quite another to have engaging music and editing and put extra effort into the acting behind the reading.
Finally, I may sleep peacefully
Yay! This is one of my favorite bedtime stories. 😊
appreciate the pleasing music choice for once
I find it interesting that when back into a corner and watered down by the foundations attempt to contain him, he can simply brute force the narrative forward by yelling out what he needs or wants to happen. It's to the point that he can even overpower an S.R.A. Very interesting and...overpowered to an extent.
I have listened to every video on this channel and this is by far my favorite one of your works. Excellent job, Mangg
I honest can’t see Murphy law played by anyone else the voice for Murphy is sooo good
Can someone explain why Murphy was able to escape the trap he walked into so easily? Did he really kill two of the O5 Council just by narrating it into existence? So many questions for part 2.
Yep. He's an anomaly that can narrate things into existence so long as they comport with plot armor or plot progression for a film noir detective, so he's pretty much omnipotent within those parameters.
@@LetsTalkAboutPrepping But didn't they get him with reality anchors? If they killed him right there and then he'd be classified as terminated, right?
@@YouLoseI’m not entirely sure, but reality anchors have been written to fail or not be effective enough in other stories. Maybe “that humming stops” was enough to overrule it?
@@YouLose Iirc, as a petaphysical construct, he's and order of magnitude higher than what the SRA's are built to deal with.
@@YouLose I'm pretty sure he breaks through the anchors though doesn't he? I'd have to revisit to check.
Also, if they did kill him then removed his body from the anchors effect, I would want it written that the corpse vanishes.
Then sometime later, we get a new Murphys law post, where he is doing his thing like normal, and in passing refers to "that strange coma he'd been in last year, but nothing can keep a rough n tumble gumshoe detective down"
I love and appreciate the videos with all parts of a series combined, but at the same time I cannot express the depths of my despair when I realized this wasn't a huge new 2-hour video drop about a new article 😭😭
Honestly one of my all time favorites. Thanks so much for this.
Loving the re-uploads. I love listening to them while painting. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Those end credits are glorious lol
I love your telling of this!
Okay... ive never been a noir genre fan, but... this was... wow 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Hey man, I can imagine that you are uploading the combined videos for views/subs while you are recovering from last October and i hope you are doing well. Its still crazy that you did all that and it was super cool to go through all of them and i can only imagine the work it took. That said i hope youre taking some time to yourself and not worrying about the channel. I am SURE you'll hit 1 mil soon and there couldn't be a more deserving person. Thanks for all the content and specifically both Murphy Law vids (and what hallened to site 13) since they are my favorite vids of yours. Hope you're doing well and having a good start to the year!
I know you're always ready to give someone a bit of the business.
Less than 20 minutes in, but ive already goltta say I absolutely adore the amont of fun you're having with this one!
I could really see this one. I'm imaging this like Sin City, all black and white, but with pops of color here and there for the important characters. Except for Murphy, the archetypal noir detective, and of course, Nobody, who is Nobody.
I love this one. Easily one of my favorite videos on your channel
This was so good.. loved it the first go round.
yesss i love this one, you make these so immersive its always so much fun
love the noir music as the backing music
god youre the perfect guy to read this type of noir stuff
The reuploads as a single video are wonderful, love going to sleep listening to stories so these 1+ long reuploads are a god send.
Loved this story, hella grateful for the reupload. One of my favorite SCPs and I too would fan girl over Murphy Law
Absolutely loved this. Thank you
I really want more of this i love listening to these while i'm doing anything.. i know none of the files are real but I have to look at it prospectively as if they are to really grasp the danger and the darker they are the more I'm peaked in interest I don't know why my mind does this but apparently I love it or it's just my brain firing the feel good juice in my head by the depth you describe things leaving me wanting more
I love you Mr.TES 🥺
Good to have it in one spot!
This is one of the best SCPs out there, IMO!
Perfect timing 👌 thanks brother
This was phenomenal Thank you
Thank you for taking Your time to do these videos. Best wishes good sir!
I like how Duke Nukem becomes a PI in the SCP world.
That's what it sounds like, it's like someone threw Duke Nukem and Dark Knight Batman into a blender and deep fried the results
MOM GET THE CAMERA
I think im going to listen to this for a second night. Thank you for your videos.
*OH BOY! IT’S 3AM!!*
I hate the fact that it 5am and I didn’t get the notification
Love your scp stuff, never stop!
Ah, another late night story. Sweet
Love this story
this one is amazing
I love the Murphy law ones
WOOOO!!! THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE SCP TALE!!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS YOU'RE SO AMAZING WOOOO!!!!
i love these uploads btw! its always a great excuse to relisten
I fucking love Murphy law so much
Thank you !!
Love to put on these all parts uploads while I’m at work
So so good. Thank you for reading
Amazing
30mins im hooked
God I want another Murphy Law story.
I already listened to this twice when it was uploaded in two parts, but I'll chuck it on mute in a background tab for my guy Mang
Really enjoying going back and giving some of these larger stories, might be time to go through and clean out the double entries in the playlists so it's just the one combined video? Just a thought.
Definitely love Murphy Law, and the noir genre. Hopefully we get some more.
I fucking LOVE Murphy Law! It’s so good! Pulp Noir is so cheesy and dumb and it fits in so well with the trappings of SCP
Looking forward to this
This is Murphy and he is ready to give anyone a bit of the business he is hard and handsome and has a face you can hit with a reckoning ball and come out inscaved lmao
I love Murphy Law
He had a hard workout today 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Nice, 1st video to pop up when i open the app, delicious
The twist with the O5 is especially great because it doesn't make sense. It's an early hint that someone or something is messing with the narrative because such a mundane act of corruption fits great in a noir novel, but not within the usual SCP foundation setting where the stakes are higher. O5s being corrupt or sinister is far from unheard of but it's not usually such mundane corruption. Especially not when it relates to 231.
*Commentary for the promotion of the video*
lmfao i love this 1
Ford Falcon
Why the reruns?
Edit: nevermind! I just saw the community post.
🤙
Bold of them to assume monster trucks have mufflers.
YIPPEEEE MURPHY TIME 😊
I'm a big fan. Been listening to you every week for years. Never played 40k. Just Dnd. Still enjoying the new avenue. My question to you is. Do you think the SCP universe is in a low swing? Are the writers growing out of it? Lol it's understandable. Curious what you think. Hope to hear from you! Keep on!!
Lets damn goo bois!
Nice
IM EARLY FOR ONCE??? YOOOOO GOATED VIDEOS
The algorithm requires engagement
Scp-2747 crossover with Murphy Law when?
Already done bruh look up “Never Metafictional Character I Didn’t Like”
Now I sleep
