Oh no she has a loving caring father! So horrible. My dad ditched my mom after two months to knock up his ex and then go on to have 3 more illegitimate children and never call or make an effort to talk to me unless he’s in prison…but yeah, that sucks.

I watched it when it came out, I was 11-12 years old I liked so much, but at the same time it was scary as fuck. I even had a poster on the wall in my room. Now I remember that I had nightmares with some pieces from the movie 😰

I actually really like this move….however I think that instead of creating a true original movie the Disney company focused on making a watered down love letter to Snow White. That, in my opinion, is what made the movie unfocused and a little lack luster. On to of changing a lot of the amazing story boards they had for the movie…ie starboy

One of my favorite movies ever. Yes everything he does as a substitute is completely wrong and would never be allowed. But the way he treats these kids as real people and not just kids that have to conform to society. The musical made me tear up

This was definitely one of those movies that I watched repeatedly as a child, simply because they scared me so much

All these kids becoming an adult that watched sanitized, Non offensive PC crap, Only to get a job or graduate from college and realize the world is nothing like what they thought. Even worse is when they believe everyone has to be nice to them, if not, they should be able to go to their safe space… Not to mention all those kids growing up on social media, thinking that they can do the dumb stuff, including, messing with any random person “ expecting nothing to happen” Committing a crime, but since they saw it on social media, they’re not aware it’s a crime! Bring back bullying, Playing outside, parks where you can get hurt! Especially boys, making them sit like girls in class, being quiet, getting in trouble when they want to bounce around, no wonder school is blamed for feminizing! Especially when they’re under the age of, getting hit with all that testosterone not being able to release that energy. Worse is if they diagnosed with ADHD when in reality, they’re just boys being boys! Things that could fix that, World War III, not babying kids, especially when they’re in their late teens early 20s, or an asteroid!

I know I'm late to the party with this comment, but I'd also like to mention (since you didn't seem to notice), the dursley's KNOW FOR A FACT that Harry is a magical bomb that could explode if poked or prodded too much, AND THEY STILL POKE AND PROD HIM AND ALLOW OTHERS TO DO SO. Think about it!! If you lived with a living, sentient bomb that could nuke your entire neighborhood at the drop of a hat (since you don't know EXACTLY how powerful it is, nor how much control it has), would YOU be willing to sit there (or allow others to do so) and insult it, it's parentage, it's heritage, and literally the very fiber and essence of it's being?

When me and my old friend were 10, she LOVED this movie and desperately wanted me yo watch it. I never did, but a lot of the girls I kew at the time really liked that cup song, including her and kind of me.
