no actually watching the movie you can kinda see she’s skeptical with several signs of hesitancy she was def not into it, just waiting for it to be done
She was suspicious, watch her expressions during those moments
I say that is typically trope of dumb character not listening to exposition so we can have a movie
the novelization adds even more red flags, most notably a girl she helped earlier desperately bursting in on the wedding trying to shout a warning ("Princess! you must not-") but being knocked out by the guards mid-sentence and dragged off..
I feel like it could've been a whole lot cooler if the time frame was simply longer. Like if she was trapped in the cave for weeks with the dragon slowly going insane and losing the innocence she had at the beginning of the movie. It would've made the reveal that she was alive more dramatic and the change in her character to being a heartless killer that condemns a whole city to death more believable.

I actually appreciated that the Stepmother was written sympathetically, and wasn't the same clichéd Evil Stepparent we're so used to seeing. She actually tried to warn Elodie about her suspicions.
Well she did not fit the bill.
I kinda wish there was at least one positive male character. Like, come on, you can empower women or whatever you want to do and still have at least one decent male character.
She was one of the worst parts.

I feel like one problem with the film was they were almost too many characters whose motifs and ideals should have been further explained and shown, especially with Elodie’s dad, the queen and the Prince. If you want a film which empowers men, you have absolutely endless options.

9:05 absolutely cracks me up, because the pupil isn't vertical like most reptile eyes, the pupil is horizontal, so my first thought was: "This dragon's a grazing animal? Oh honey, you don't have to worry about a thing, this guy's just a scaly goat!"
Actually the pupil shape a point slit found in frogs, toads, snakes and octopuses. A sheep pupil is bar shaped.

Right? The Dragon was a very odd creature. It moved like a lion/big cat that could fly.
I think the thing i hated most was that the dragon was practically mortally wounded by it's own fire.
To be fair, I'm pretty sure I would be pretty dang wounded if I spit copious amounts of my own stomach acid all over my face.

@user-xd4dd1yb7i I do think however, that if evolution had made it so humans spit stomach acid regularly like dragons do in stories, then we'd probably evolve an outer defence for it so we wouldn't hurt ourselves. What would be the point to breathe fire if you hurt yourself in the process? Also, we don't know what the basics of fire breathing dragons are. "Is" it really stomach acid, or something else like a snakes venom?
Her perfect modern smoky eye makeup during the whole movie took me out.
With image quality getting better it's getting real distracting that you can see where the makeup ends and the actor begins. Also, medieval times but everything is clean, shiny, and brand new, of course.

How many neighbors does this kingdom have? And how come there's no rumors going around between other kingdoms saying "yeah don't marry your daughters into that family, they never return." Dun, dun, dun!
maybe its the because the parents agree to this, like ellie's father did.
She had to travel a huge distance because they weren't exactly neighbors.
Also, Ellie herself said she hasn't heard of that kingdom before, which is kinda dumb considering they were all rich and stuff and had all that story of the "king vs dragon" thing that somehow nobody has heard of.
Honestly, this whole worldbuilding is so stupid

I have heard nobody say this, but i think the dressing up is really imp to the movie, as she goes in the cave, every layer comes off and lastly the red underdress with corset. It was soo beautifully done. We could also see how every pieces or jewellery were used or do something in the cave, like the waistband thing caught while climbing rock, the knife inside the corset was useful and the chain was a torch for a while, the sleeve was useful as lamp, i mean i love that❤❤❤❤

Stellar casting choice there. I honestly could've done with a movie with just the stepmom and the dragon.
The biggest problem here is the implication that the dragon was fooled into being a villain by giving him fake princesses, as if killing the real three princesses every generation wouldn't be a villainous act. Like when Elodie keeps explaining that those girls were innocent because they didn't actually descend from the king. So what, if they had, they would've been guilty of his crimes?
Honestly, yeah. It sucks for those girls either way since why should they have the bear the weight of their ancestor’s sins.
I find it hilarious that the dragon goes by smell so much and thinks that all humans look alike despite so many vast differences in the ghosts. That just makes it funnier to me.
Just... don't put any thought on the plot. The minute you try to make sense out of it you go down the madness. Whoever wrote this put much less thought than you did.

The idea of her slowly ripping the dress apart for survival tools is actually solid, it could have been like medieval Die Hard. Shame it's just Wattpad beyond that.
Is inteligennt costuming! they show all the layers of the drees, and they all have very real historical inspirations, so when she takes every layer down, we see how smart she is, she is not just riping the dress to move better, she is using the dress in her favor
Yeah, I actually really enjoyed the sequence of her using a crown and bits of fabric to help climb up one of the walls (and I think using her sleeve as a lantern-like thing as also kinda cool).
Kept going and it would just be the PH version.

My theory is that maids who are preparing brides for wedding cares enough to try to help. That is why the dress have so many helpful feature (hidden dagger! - why the hell would it be there?) and it have so many layers to be less aerodynamic and to by like parachute while falling down... They know what is down there in caves and are helping for centuries perfecting dress design ;)
I had fun watching the movie, I didn't expected much plot, so I wasn't disappointed ;) Sure, there were plot holes, but it is not documentary but fantasy movie :)
Those daggers where actually inserted into corsets back in the day to ensure the women wearing them would keep a upright posture otherwise they’d be jabbed by the blade if they were slouched over which is a pretty neat detail !

@@lmac3580 this is almost certainly a myth. The point of a corset in the medieval era was to support your back and breasts while giving you the freedom of movement to bend and twist. The vast majority of women wearing corsets during this time were working class and thus the ability to bend over (to farm, sew, etc) was crucial to their livelihoods. It minimized back pain, and you would not find any daggers in them whatsoever (sharp, broken whale bone from an over-used corset, though? Maybe, and maybe that's where the rumor started). Daggers in corsets/bodices are, as far as we know, completely fictional and a security measure used only at renaissance fairs. There's no historical evidence of it being a popular application in real life

Even for people that don't analyze movies, they know those awfull and exaggerated details that this movie has. I mean for real, falling for 30 seconds and NO bone broken? And let's not use the "but is a fantasy movie" bc even for a surreal movie, that kind of falls does break at least a bone 😂

So the dragon can smell the "Royal Blood" on her because of the ceremony. But when she bleeds on multiple different occasions that would definitely not smell like royal blood, the dragon doesn't notice? And neither does the dragon smell her father's blood when he gets killed. It's almost like when you take a second to think about the plot it stops making sense.

The dragon probably just thought the royal blood comes from the mother's side of the family, and she wouldn't have been wrong in this case considering the king himself doesn't ever contribute any of his own blood in the ceremony.

The movie isn't written badly because of "wokeness". It's just lazy and / or highly amateurish.
A thing that boggles my mind is the girl who created the map on the wall. She found the supposed exit and decided to backtrack to create that map for other victims and then go back to 'escape'. Like, why wouldn't you just escape? Also when the dad got killed, wouldn't the dragon have been able to realize he's not royal blood by the scent of his blood? I questioned a lot of stuff during this movie lol.

About her father blood I thought the same, but someone in comments written that if he would marry into that royal family he wouldn't smell like their blood, and his daughter would have blood from mum - which make sense

The book explains all this, is a very good read. Very like the movie but also different enough to explain the things that don't make sense.
I really didn't expect to like this movie but I actually did. It was far from perfect with some pretty cringey moments but it was a decent bit of escapism for an hour and a half with cool looking sets and outfits. They made an effort to show Elodie becoming more capable throughout her journey, struggling, getting hurt and scared (the constant screaming got a bit annoying for me but served a point I suppose.) which is a lot more than we get from most girlboss characters nowadays who seem to roll out of the womb with maxed out stats.

@@janecreek681I have thought about it over the past weeks and there are for sure a few more things that have irked me a bit but yeah, I still for sure feel it was alright, not regretting my time spent watching it by any means.
I actually appreciated all the screaming. I was like oh, she just got a SEVERE burn, that WOULD hurt a lot. That made it feel so much more realistic than some hardened girl boss who doesnt feel pain. Because the movie is about escaping, it was easy to buy that she was basically adrenaline-ing her way through the pain lol.
What bothered me the most was that Elodie had SO MANY CHANCES to tell the dragon that she was not a true descendant, and yet she didn’t!! also, it isn’t ok to murder innocent people, even if they are descendants lol

The fact that you could still tell Millie had makeup on after wandering a cave and fighting a dragon really bugged me.

Three parts really got to me:
1) She gets taken up a mountain and throw into the cave, but she screams for help. Who the F is going to save you?
2) She had multiple opportunities to talk to the dragon and explain the situation, but doesn't try. She could have saved her dad if she had just spoken up.
3) She loved her dad so much, but after he is dead she doesn't seem to care at all.
1) is nitpicking. She’s desperate. Screaming out for help at your lowest point despite knowing it probably won’t come isn’t unrealistic.
I kinda agree with you. Her being a girlboss in the last part of the movie was a bit weird. Not once did she have a mental breakdown like gurl your father's dead, you were betrayed, you are probably hungry and hurt and you somehow still manage to look heroic as you survive

I don’t understand the whole wedding situation. Why do they need a fake wedding to do this? Why didn’t the Royal family just take 3 girls from the village, cut their hands, throw them down the cave, and call it a day? Did no one find it suspicious that the Prince is getting married multiple times and that all his wives disappear right after the wedding??
The only witnesses were the citizens and the princesses family, both parties sworn to secrecy

What is the point of having a wedding if everyone knows the bride will be killed? It’s not like the prince cared about her or that they had some deep connection. I just love how SPOILER the dragon is supposed to be a tragic figure who lashes out of grief for the loss of her children yet she's a sadistic serial killer who's been taking her rage out on fully innocent girls for centuries without a flicker of remorse, only minds that she didn't kill the 'right' girls and gleefully tortures and butchers tons of utterly helpless people. And gets a redemption at the end. Like, she feels remorse only after Elodie tells her the princesses were unrelated to the Aurean king. It's almost as if the movie was telling us the dragon would have been completely justified in murdering young women for centuries if they had actually been descendants of the man who ordered the killing of her babies.
So remember kids, the moral of the story is "killing innocent people wholly unconnected to the source of your pain is fine if they're distantly related to the perpetrators."
When you put it that way it's almost like the writers have an agenda of some sort. Gee, what could that be though? Can't quite put my finger on it...

But here it's not exactly that since the target is a single kingdom. It's more akin to a family feud. Still a pretty bad moral anyway, I hate the sins of the father idea.

If by relate you mean "understanding the idea", I agree. If you mean agreeing with the reasoning, then no. I hate that reasoning. Or rather, I hate the idea that tragedy can justify anything and relatives have to pay for crimes committed by someone. People are not responsible for the crimes committed by their ancestors and shouldn't pay for them. If tomorrow someone murders my entire family and my reaction is to hunt down, torture and brutally kill their relative even though they have nothing to do with what happened to me, then it's not justice, it's revenge and I am NOT a good person. A tragic past does NOT justify the atrocities you commit and never should.

Honestly what I think could have improved the story SIGNIFICANTLY is if they threw away the whole "oh they kidnap other girls to feed the dragon" and actually made it THEIR daughters. I mean it could still the the whole same "I was betrayed by my family" but it takes out the whole idea that the dragon could ever be GOOD. And would honestly make the conflict and the story so much more interesting. More because then the writers would have to THINK rather than just being like "Oh shes not actually their daughter so she doesn't deserve to die LIKE, NO?? IF SHE WAS THEIR DAUGHTER I DONT THINK SHE'D DESERVE TO DIE EITHER?
It was one thing to think she survived the fall, but that every single princess that was thrown, also survived the fall? Then, her sister survived the same fall? How did anyone survive it? That was the part that got me the most.

@M0psyd the dragon leaves the dead bodies in the movie, but there were none at the bottom of the bridge. Which means every girl survived the fall. Not only that every girl was okay enough to leave that area.

It was indeed a beautiful moment
I was very aware of the many plot holes while watching this but I still enjoyed this movie for what it gave me: fantasy, cool action scenes, a princess forced to find her courage and strength to take fate into her own hands in order to survive, vengeance, and A DRAGON. It was easy entertainment, nothing more, nothing less. And I loved the ending because it's what all fantasy loving girls want in life... freedom, adventure, and a dragon guardian/companion. I wish.

That’s why Elodie’s father was so shaken up after his private meeting with the royals and that’s how he knew exactly where to find her after their wedding. And also, the citizens definitely knew about all those girls dying. After all, the men that helped Elodie’s father search for her were citizens of that kingdom and were trying to convince him that his daughter was likely already dead since she’d already “been in here for a fort night too long”.
I laughed so hard when she went back through the cave because it was basically a video game speed run

I SO AGREE ABOUT THE ENDING. Like I was enjoying the movie, but her turn to just straight up murdering everyone with the dragon at the end made no sense.
I absolutely adored this movie unironically.
fun fact as someone with long hair who has had short hair I feel like the long hair would have been way more practical to tie back in a knot on itself, whereas the bob is just going to constantly get in your way. especially when you're that grimy, your long hair will stay in a knot on its own, but the bob is just always going to be in your eyes and face. So long story short, long hair is better in a badassery situation

Also I dislike the undertone of "long hair cannot be truly free" or something like that. I thought the imagery of her climbing the crystals with her long ass haut was great, she looked animalistic in a very compelling way. Cutting it felt cliché and unnecessary

I love what you said about her being animalistic with it...there's something almost more free about it being long, especially cause, as Alex said, wow, she got a perfect boob with a sword blade?! that's not realistic, takes us out of her experience. imo it's much more symbolic leaving it long anyway.
What surprised me most about this movie was how high-budget it is. Considering the story is actually quite simple and you probably could’ve done it in one or two cartoon episodes, the movie’s gorgeous to look at with the settings and action, the cast is stacked with big names, and the CGI on the dragon is fantastic! Does anyone else remember that Russian film that circulated on CZcams about a decade ago with a similar plotline, young princesses getting sacrificed to a dragon? Only difference is that the princess fell in love with the dragon. That can't have had the same budget but looked really good, the dragon and the setting was pretty well done. More money doesn't automatically mean better

This movie made me realize how I sorely miss the action princess movies. Its just women kicking some ass, wearing pretty dresses and generally having fun time. Sometimes a girlie just want to watch Camp cinema.
Yup my husband and I really enjoyed the movie because not every piece of media we consume has to be a masterpiece or whatever. I thought it was cute and a fun time ❤

The ripping her dress off was kinda cool because she made alot of use for it, she climbed with her crown, made a lamp out of her sleeve, a very unsanitary gauze out of some of the cloth etc. felt it was cool tbh

@@CrazyMazapan I wish it was more like Made in Abyss, you sacrifice this girl to a mysterious pit with unexplained origins and she has to survive using wits and courage against terrifying creatures, eventually killing a Big Bad, or just replace the dragon with a Bondrewd like character who is also sacrificing or whatever, convince them to stop, then get out yadda yadda. Or that they just hired 4 competent writers to fix the plot holes while still conveying the girl boss society is lying to you story, which could still work

The prince had to marry someone, who would in-turn become a daughter-by-law, thereby suitable-to-sacrifice: the wedding-ceremony was just to make her into that-king's daughter, to suit the deal's stipulation.
So the dragon didnt get suspicious that the king always had 3 daughters (which look really different to each other) ready to be sacrificied at any time

Virtually entirely innocent, and whom Elodie invoked the names/spirits of as her "army." She's literally working with the monster who killed her sisterhood and a ton of birds/bats. Of course at that point, the dragon was the only weapon she had against a kingdom.
I feel like had she killed the dragon and somehow got back at the royal family without help from a dragon would've sold the woman empowerment they were going for. Bc the dragon did the work not her.

Once I was limping for a week because I'm stupid and I decided to jump rope for more than 10 minutes (without having a rope) and that alone made me almost twist my leg. And the movie basically tells me that none of the princesses died when they were thrown from a building? the worst part was that it was easy for them to escape this mistake, as you can see the dragon likes to hunt the princess, so she started to realize that the princesses were dying in the fall and she couldn't have her fun, she went there and created a kind of nest so that when the girls fall there they survive (at least those who don't hit their heads or break any bones while being thrown) Okay, so this huge furi would already be resolved, in addition to realizing how the dragon is really very intelligent

I really appreciate that the costume designer got to go all in on high fantasy designs for everyone. There are too few fantasy movies that really take advantage of the opportunity to use really layered fantasy costumes. Most movies either look like they went to party city or are trying to sell the latest prom designs. The dragon and scenery looked good.

The thing that bothered me the most was that they go through this elaborate process to bring Elodie to the sacrifice pit, pay loads of money to the dad "More than I can even imagine", and yet they later just take the sister, do the blood thing, and toss her in the pit, no ceremony or anything. If they could do that why don't they just grab some peasant girls off the streets? It's way easier and cheaper than the entire first act of the movie.
I also thought of this, but my explanation was, they avoid the angry population (like in the hunger games)

So grabbing a random person off the street who doesn't have a family or anyone who will miss them, versus going through a big song and dance of paying the bride price for a noblewoman, and then risking the possibility of an investigation because a very notable person went missing IMMEDIATELY after the wedding, not once, but 3 times in the span of a week..... It's drawing attention to what you're doing instead of obfuscating it

She was wearing a corset so it's likely that that helped to prevent too much bleeding and she just followed the great big fire breathing dragon. Also she wasn't looking for Elodie she was trying to save the little sister.

For that matter, the dragon is huge and can cover a lot of area very quickly with that wingspan, we explicitly see it circling the whole mountain and raining hell and destruction for miles around the mountain. Thats still way too much ground to cover! The movie didnt even show us whethrr elodie was close to the exit where her family saw her earlier in the movie, which at least wouldve been some place to search. And there's not a road or path either where they end up meeting.
So, did her stepmothers just ride towards one of the places the angry dragon threw a tantrum on good luck? With no actual idea where to go, only to coincidentally and conveniently run into elodie? Who, by the way, stepmom wouldve had no way of knowing wasnt already farther away instead of having huddled under a rock for several hours. It just makes no sense.
Plus, stepmom also has no way to know where the big cave entrance is, since her husband needed a guide. So, she cant even be riding just to find the entrance.
I feel like just changing one or two of these details could have been enough to make this feel believable, and not like a plot contrivance. Like for godssake, add a road marker in the bg so it looks like as if stepmom followed a road to the mountain, and elodie couldve used the same road to orientate... but nope. Nothing.
Hear me out. Later in the movie we see map of whole cave sketched by previous girls and we see 'The Exit' or whatever. So The Previous Princess climbed then found 'The Exit', backed to cave, added exit to map, returned to exit and she finally realized that this is not very safe exit. Funny.
No, there was only a drawing of a sun. So, you know.. you can die with the sun on your face if you prefer

I was so mad at the prince like when he saw she was alive he was trying to redeem himself but he actually never even thought of saving her from the dragon or doing something in general..
He tries to give her the justification he told himself, which probably came from his mother, he says that once the three sacrifices are made, he can marry whomever he wants. He's not down with the whole stuff entirely, such as not wanting to do it to her sister, but enough to be guilty and to be willing to trade their lives not for his kingdom's prosperity, but his own romantic happiness.
I thought he would turn around and try to save her but it turned out being her father. It's hit diff had it been the Prince instead and he cleared up things w the dragon.
@@noctemysagreed. I feel like the Prince deserved to have screen time and a character arc diving into his guilt over the situation. Elodie didn’t have to fully forgive him or even want to be with him in the end, but the idea of them teaming up to support the dragon would’ve been such a good subversion to the story. I was pretty disappointed that he was so under utilised when the marketing material made him seem like an active character.

I really wanted this movie to be an r rated, Descent style horror with a terrifying dragon as the antagonist. That would have been fun.

There were several things about this movie that drove me crazy. They make several mentions to her making mazes but never went further with it. The cave wasn't a maze, there was a very easy map drawn on the wall that told her where to go. Then the movie was all about how she doesn't need a man to save her but if her father didn't come to the cave with men and left a rope leading down to the lair she literally wouldn't have been able to escape. The other characters didn't have any background for you to care about them dying or living. It just felt so flat and meh.
I was thinking the same thing! Ppl are complaining about the wrong things. The main thing is how this WAS a story about one man choosing to repent and come for her and in coming for her, he held out a rope for her to climb and sure save herself but a man still needed to do something for her to be saved, which defeated the whole purpose of the movie

I don't think the movie was about not needing a man.... she was alone in the cave after all and it's not like she rejected help... no one except her father came and he ended up dying to save her.
For the maze thing. Parts of the movie were cut cause the executives thought it was too long. So that's why the pay off to the maze drawing skills were missing.

I totally agree, so many people are complaining about how unrealistic it was and I get that, but its a fantasy movie and if you just allow yourself to accept parts that are unrealistic then its an enjoyable movie, or it was for me at least

She was definitely out there longer than ten seconds, so she should be unconscious with NO way of regaining it without someone else recovering her. Within a minute she should have been very dead. Her being in a sci fi setting that also includes magical powers doesn’t make her survival any less stupid. Fantasy and sci fi only work as long as they don’t break reality outside of well understood lines so we understand what level of danger a character is in.

idk i enjoyed it. i do think they tried (like the setup with the dress? showing all of the layers and trinkets added to the outfit specifically because they would be relevant later, whether to hinder or aid her) or the fact that she isn't a totally fearless girlboss who's immune to any and all injuries. that burn HURT, she couldn't constantly hide the pained noises that come from it. the girlboss moments come from her desire to protect her sister

It really follows the trope of “great to look at, not to listen to”. It has amazing costume and set design as well as cgi, but just has a basic convoluted story that wasn’t put together all that well. All on top of very little plot that got rushed as well. Strange for how much they spent to make it.
Great to look at the scenery, not the actors. I hate people just can't go without having a girl fighting to survive a face full of perfect makeup.

I hate how they tried to convince us that the Dragon was 'tricked' into being evil by being told the innocent girls were princesses.
Even if they WERE princesses, they're still innocent women who had nothing to do with the Dragon's babies being slaughtered!

The healing slugs were such a wasted opportunity. The premise for the first king going down into the cave should have been to harvest these slugs to save a loved one from mortal wounds or something, and the baby dragons were just collateral damage. That's so much more compelling than "man wants to slay dragon" and actually sticks to the theme of sacrifice and the lengths we go to to protect loved ones. And it makes so much more sense than what we were given, which was so messy and convoluted 😒

Actually what would have been interesting, they should have had the younger sister calling the stepmother "Mother", and Elodie, refusing to accept the stepmother as a replacement for the mother she lost, continues to call her "Stepmother" out of spite for her father marrying again. The stepmother could even lament to the father, "She is never going to accept me". And then, at the end of the film, Elodie calls her mother.

I love how at 10:30 they went to the trouble of making her all grimy-faced, but she's got the most bleached teeth ever and her lipstick is still PERFECTLY painted on. It looks so silly to anyone who's ever worn makeup. Like, could they not at least have given her that fake-natural look you see all the time? Because that's like, Sunday dinner with your partner's parents level of 24-hour superstay right there. Shoreh Agdashloo as the dragon is an awesome choice, though. I recognized her immediately. She's like a lady version of Corpse Husband/Geoff Castellucci.

The dragon didn't want to end the bloodline. The king killed the daughters of the dragon right after they hatched and the dragon wanted the king to feel the same pain. She propably wanted them to bring their daughters themselves so they would feel more pain.

The amount of plot holes and plot armour in this armour is absolutely insane. I do believe some girls didn't survive the fall in past. There were some clothes, remains in that first cave. @@MaraMara89 Suspension of disbelief can only go so far. There still needs to be some logic in the world building, some realistic rules to follow so the world makes sense. Even with the extra clothing Elodie's injuries should be a little more severe, she should have at least one broken leg.

Its also funny that the slugs heal the dragon completely and yet Elodie holds one in her cut hand an entire night and it doesn't heal it because of plot.
Also, do they repair broken bones? Because Floria is walking just fine like two hours later.
I found it odd that Elodie went back inside to save her sister before it was too late then took like 1 hour getting ready which meant she knew that the dragon would have not killed Floria instantly
Yeah but she missed being completly fried several times and probably wanted to catch her before she got sent down there in the first place.

I liked the little Easter eggs like the Prince's frequent mask slips which hinted as his discomfort at something sinister related to the wedding. Also, the way the Aureans were super wealthy but cheap, opting to replace the dead flowers in the garlands rather than do a fresh arrangement for each bride 😂
i actually really enjoyed this movie. it's by no means perfect. but I thought it was decent. and i actually really liked the reveal of the dragon mentioning the "three taken" and Elodie then finding their corpses and figuring out that both her and the dragon had been lied to about everything.
and to me, it didn't come out of nowhere, i actually anticipated it, so it just felt natural and clever to me. and the dragon did mention the murder of her children. she just didn't elaborate on it, because i think she assumed that it was common knowledge, since she also thought all the princesses were direct descendants of that king
The opening scene with the old king has his soldiers stabbing something, so it was pretty telegraphed.

The funny part is, at the end, she tells the girl's family to gtfo. Then 12 seconds later the dragon starts killing everyone. She is the only one to leave. RIP innocents, servants working in the tower, pregnant mothers who can't evacuate a city very fast, the disabled, etc.
Nah, the servants in the background hightailed it out as soon as she said “go.” It was the nobles that didn’t budge.
That is not true. She gave opportunity to leave all of them, but only servants from background run away. All nobles stayed...
