Not endorsed by STB and they never acknowledge it and it's expensive for a hawker meal. Can try the expensive zi char in Geylang makes u vomit blood, 1k per meal.

You can have the turtle soup without feeling guilty. The turtles are farmed and are soft-shell freshwater turtle.

I cannot remember the texture, but as often it boils down to the herbs and seasoning. Like snake, if you do not know it is snake, you feel it is just chicken.

Turtle soup my favourite. There was a famous turtle soup restaurant at MacPherson near the old MacPherson hawker centre that had been abolished. Not sure the shop is still there.
