    The threaded method allows to save the brass bushing when properly done. Once the tap starts to grab in the bushing, just do 5 turns. That should result in a total of 6 turns which is sufficient to pull out the bushing but won't go all the way through it. Regards !

    you mentioned the transmission issues, saying changing the oil might cause more problems, those transmissions have 2 filters ,one is the screen inside the pan, and a screw on oil filter mounted on the side of the trans.I..its possiable you have dirty plugged up filters, maybe changing the oil and screen plus filter could help improve the transmission.

    • @gdamtbnms
      @gdamtbnms Před 2 měsíci

      its possible.. I would consider changing the filters and just putting the original fluid back!

    • @Horsemanpro63
      @Horsemanpro63 Před 2 měsíci

      @gdamtbnms ..put new ..correct fluid for the Trans back in..don't add supplements..or additives..Dodge transmission are finicky

    To find the year of your Evinrude/Johnson. in the Model number it will read.... E (or J) 15 (is the HP) then the type R=rope then the year 2 letters....say EN, Or could be...CD....or CR... they use these letters ....I N T R O D U C E S I=1 N=2 T=3 R=4 O=5 D=6=U=7 C=8 E=9 S=0 SO....EN = 92 CD = 86 CR = 84 No idea why they didn't just go with numbers lol
