I’m working on a I believe a 1978 15 hp Johnson seahorse I had it running after changing water pump but no water water circulating out of telltale so I removed power head to replace gasket on copper tube re assembled everything and now it won’t start can you please help me 😅
sure!! lets start with the basics! check you grounds and make sure you have spark! get it running and we can work on water pump
it’s a 74-78 Johnson seahorse I tried to get it running but I can only get it to pop
When I put the power head back on and connected the power modules I forgot how it came off so I figure I have it all backwards would that matter?
@@cristianbecerra8935 yeah those coils have to be grounded in a certain way. I believe I hooked up coils on my read 9.9 in my videos. Check to make sure you have the right w
Spark plug wires on the correct plug. I would guess you have a missing ground or mixed up the wires
