Maybe pull the lower unit with drive shaft so you can try get some lateral/sideways leverage on the power head
Gunna try that!! Thanks for watching!!!
@@gdamtbnms where your cut bolt heads are dont hit them with a drift to much if they don't move as you will expand them outwardly, ive done a few omc outboards the bolts are stainless even though not high grade so drilling them needs a cobolt bit, but try this heat each one without getting to hot and spray to cool with penetration fluid, i actually used to use eucalyptus oil as well and keep repeating a few times, give the casting a little tap but not to hard in between, but next time try welding a nut to the crappy bolt, if it turns and then it's seized stop, heat it cool with your wd40 or whatever then screw back in and keep repeating, this has worked everytime for me 👍
@@mezame1626 I will 100% try this!! Thank you so very much!!!!
I got the same engine on a rack in my yard with one broken bolt and she aint coming apart.Only way unless you get super lucky prying is CAREFULLY step drill(new drills) all the studs out the depth of the midsection casting.Pull the gearcase first to eliminate that stuck driveshaft syndrome. Did you heat the Hell out of those bolts and use 6point socket originally,HMMMMM...What a Mess,HA!
lol I did! I swear! I will pull the lower! Even though I did the water pump and the splines should have fresh grease. I’m getting this thing off if I have to saw zall through it!!! Did you ever try burr outs? That’s my next step
