Reassembling my 1982 9.9hp Evinrude Long Shaft After Paint, Thermostat, Water Pump and Crank Seal

I forgot to put in the high speed jet that screws into the shaft in middle of the carb!!
Luckily for me a run at the lake showed no high speed and taking the carb off and watching my previous videos showed my mistake! Happy boating!

How many turns out is your set screw on your carb

always start at 1 and 1/2!! Now, VERY rarely, some 15hp carbs or some years take 4... but ive never seen it!! 1-1/2 and you should be good there!!
