I will show a very nice dry cell built by a local mechanic named Aaron Hughes. His cell has 13 plates running 5 neutrals. The dimensions are 9 1/2" x 5 1/2" and the gaskets are 3/8" wide. Nice to see you again! It’s been many years since I first saw you video. I started with my hho generator build a year or two ago but one main problem was turning the torch off without an explosion in the tank(i do have the pressure relief valve made according to your instructions) Just a few days ago I found somewhere in the youtube comments section an advice to hook up a solenoid valve to my gas line. I run my generator off 2 parallel 12volt batteries. The 12volt solenoid is hooked up to the breaker and as soon as it loses power the gas line gets shut instantly and the flashback is way more quieter than it would be in my flashport. I decided to solder a spring loaded button to the solenoid valve which disconnects the power upon being pushed and reconnects and opens the valve upon the button being released. This way I will not have to worry about reopening the gas line while the generator is still producing gas. The button is crucial for this because when I would just flip the breaker the capacitors in my pulse width modulator would still feed my solenoid valve and the drop in gas pressure would occur faster than the valve would close. As a student of metal crafts I see a lot of potential for this torch. Now I need to infuse the HHO with acetone or a similar chemical to make the flame more suited for soldering jobs. The solar panels are a great idea. Hooking them up to a battery would make for some great off grid fun :)
@randar9884 If you are having trouble with flashbacks, I have an idea for you to try. This is something I discovered after I stopped posting HHO videos years ago. I bough myself a small oxygen/acetylene jewelers torch and ran the HHO into one of the gas inputs. On the other input I ran a line from my air compressor. I leave the torch valve with the air closed while I'm using the HHO torch. When I want to put out the flame, I simply open the valve on the air side, injecting air into the mix, and the flame goes out without any flashback at all. It works very well. Keep in mind that you don't have to be connected to an air compressor. You could simply have a small canister or air tank that you could manually pump air into to build up a little pressure. Connect a hose from that canister to your torch and give it a blast of air when you want to put out the flame. Please let me know if you try this. I would like to hear your feedback. Thanks!

This man is a genius and a true legend in hho gas technology! Solar is great I'm going to use the Hoffman apparatus design instead of the standard hho cell for separation of the hydrogen and oxygen.

Good to see you back. I have a question: I have space for a extra alternator and battery on my v8. Is this a viable option to get better consumption? All my research over the past few years has shown that HHO systems for cars are more scam than anything else and the problem is the energy required. I even spent some time on wood gasification as a alternative and both HHO and wood gasification have serious draw backs
Adding HHO to an engine can be very difficult. There are just so many variables. That was one of my frustrations with HHO. There were a LOT of people who had no idea about what they were doing. One company stood out who did it right, Central Valley HHO. I think Scott is still around, I see that he is still posting videos. His CZcams channel is @ssfuturescott. Scott spent a ton of money on testing, and had HHO setups in his personal vehicles for years. If you still want to pursue HHO for an engine, that is the person I would contact.

Can you mod this for health purposes? This is the explosive Brown's gas, correct?
Yes @wildeslothe5475 this is Brown's gas. I can't vouch for the health benefits though. I did try drinking some HHO infused water back in the day and it did make me feel more alert, kind of like drinking coffee. Not sure if it was a placebo effect or not. My main concern drinking it was that I'm sure there were trace amount of Sodium Hydroxide ending up in the water even after being filtered through a couple of bubblers. It gets carried through the water vapor in the gas. I'm guessing this is what causes the pH of the water to rise.
@@centralcoastoffgrid Yes, that's because of the lye, like you said. You need to add more bubblers, they have 3 in total and then the lye doesn't get through and it's still 0 ppm. But for health purposes it needs to be not explosive anymore. Then they inhale it or drink it via water.
Hello, can you use a hho generator to power a gas cooker ? And how big of a generator you need to do this ?
Hi @CinemaProjectionTech That's a tricky question. It's tough to use HHO as a cooker. To burn HHO, you need a very small nozzle/tip on the burner. I think the expert on this subject is Peter at HHO Gas Technology. He has been experimenting with torches and burners for years. The gas he uses is not straight HHO though, he filters some of the HHO through some kind of fossil fuel liquid (maybe acetone). I think he uses about 12 liters/min. Could you not add a variable (high power rated) resistor in series with one of the solar cables? That way you could “tune” the variable resistor and at the same time measure the between plate voltage till you get spot on 2.0 VDC? Then fine tune to allow for longer run times if need be. Love how you are experimenting. Just need a boiler, piston and flywheel setup with generator attached, then either AVR Auto Voltage regulator, or some other method to clean up the AC to give better than mains quality power. I’ll be your first customer once it’s perfected and tested with variable loads. You can use a voltage recorder (Polylogger) are the best in the game to prove quality of supply. Mate, you really could have something here!!
You may be able to hire the Polylogger. They also have smaller plug into outlet types which is for sure a lot cheaper (comparatively). The other way is to get an electrical engineer to provide this service. Make sure you patent it all before even approaching one. Bit of R&T required here…Research and Testing.

To be honest, I'm not quite sure I understand what you are describing. Sounds like a HHO powered steam engine with a generator attached. All I did was plug a HHO cell into some solar panels. If there is something here, please run with it or patent it. This is your baby. If my silly little video gave you inspiration, then I'm happy.
@@centralcoastoffgrid I couldn’t be bothered doing all the R&T. HHO being the fuel source to heat the boiler, making steam, driving the flywheel with a governor which controls generator speed. I used to work at Luggage Point Wastewater treatment plant in Brisbane (mouth of the Brisbane river). They used Collected methane to drive massive UK Diesel engines to produce power for the grid. They would have to start these on diesel first, then change over to methane. Only issue with Hydrogen is the safety side of things, likely need back flow preventers. There is a fair bit to it, but once set up would give power from water and the sun which is amazing. I’m in Australia and have a grid connected (30kW), which is huge system with two 15kW three phase inverters. Thinking about a small off grid unit to power only the light circuits and one power circuit for water pump, two fridges and a tuckerbox freezer. I got about 8 months to get it ready, so I’m not in a hurry. Was thinking about using Edison batteries.

Thanks @Pierobon! As much as I love Hydrogen, I don't think it can compete with an EV. The battery technology is evolving quickly and prices are dropping so fast that in a few years you will be able to buy an EV for less money than an ICE car. Combine the lower cost with the simplicity of an EV and I just don't think a Hydrogen cell car will be able to compete. And before you talk about range on an EV, there are batteries on the horizon that will allow an EV to go more than 400 miles on a full charge and quick charge from 20%-80% in less than 10 minutes. My numbers may be off by a little but just do a search for "CATL long range battery". It's game over for fossil fuels for cars!

cant wait to see what youve been up to. solar got pretty good compared to 10 years ago, but i still dream of an efficient enough system where you can create hho and then use it to generate electricity all at home. i know the math doesnt work and you end up wasting energy due to all the stages compared to just solar straight to storage, but itd would be like a cool in between solar generating decent energy to a micro nuclear generator being able to make vast amounts of power all at home. if we could break physics hho to electric would be peak transportation. hho-electric hybrids that drive like electric cars with gobs of torque and has energy density of gasoline to be able to have 600 miles of range. it would be like an hho boost generator, extending your battery for long trips.

Lowering reservoir to decrease foam from dry cell. Works fine in the lab; but, in the real world of automotive environments it's impossible. As to hot tub foam dispersant, you don't speak of freqency of application of additional anti-foaming agent. It's chemical make up may or may not be broken down by the electrolysis process. The simple action of replacing the distilled water alone is no longer as simple. In an automotive environment the vacuum draw on the generated HHO and upon the flow rate through the generator will produce huge volume of foam; without an anti-forming agent, especially at 30 amps. You provide no answer here to the problem.
