If you want more room for the ESC you can use the radio box mount. I believe it's by GPM
Smooth
Use the Traxxas Link bluetooth to phone... along with a few other settings, it allows to INCREASE the ESC power to reach their speed rating.
Traxxas electronics have been removed :)
gooed vid m8, i just bought the slash 4x4 bl-2s and it also has the plastic shaft, with your vid it was confirmed that you can also upgrade with the exact same parts to the alu shaft. great work keep it up m8.

Good work! You guys made a ton of progress. If your fuesbox or wiring is a PITA you can always go with a PDM (power distribution module). They're not cheap but, man do they simplify wiring.

I ordered a 5 speed transmission from them for my 07 Saturn Ion. 0-mile, new in the crate for $500 + shipping. Great deal. If they had more "new old stock" I'd buy from them in a heartbeat.
Definitely I was thinking about picking up a new transmission and motor from them to build if they have them back in stock if not, I’ll probably source on eBay

Get you some m2c hubs with arrma 8s tires and some stiffer springs . Oh yeah aluminum upper bulkheads . Vitavon bellcrank . The upper bulkheads are annoying to change over and over . Oh yeah mod 1.5 gears .
I have arrma tires, but decided to just get sledgehammers instead. I want to be able to run the trenchers and difference in offset is annoying. Got a whole steering upgrade coming soon! And mod one gears are sitting on my workbench!
@@RCMANIAC-YT yeah cause I have a xrt with the max5 the esc and a 1100kv on 25/35 gearing . It destroys Traxxas tires . Trenchers hook up good on em too . My stock bulkheads were destroyed
Wouldn’t aluminum bulkheads just cause arm and chassis breakages
@@RCMANIAC-YT nah cause it not that much heavier . Traxxas has good plastics . My original upper bulkheads couldn't take the added weight . I put it through it's trial and errors and addressed the issues . Those are common weak points . Also the wing mount

I didn't have any problems w gearing till I built a ramp an was launching it 7 ft in the air. I did pull out the pins an meshed motor by hand w aluminum motor mount washers. Seems solid Now. Have Fun

Nope, fully charged 2s lipo, just slow gearing for a underpowered 4x4 car
Batteries could bring a couple MPH also, not sure what shape your batteries are in but definitely makes a difference!!! Great vid 👍👍

I went with the heavy duty center diff. It's filled with one million fluid. Leaving it until I get it out to my local track once all the snow melts.
