I tried to dye my Rustler chassis red a while back and got the exact same color you did. Seems starting with a grey part really darkens the shade of the color you use. I think it's pretty cool, but I guess if you tried this and didn't like it, you could just dye it black afterwards, lol. Also, how'd the egg come out?
That's correct, honestly I'm not quite sure what we were going for in this video although they did get re-dyed in the new video and it looks so much better now!
DYE IS CHEAP… NEXT TIME JUST USE THE WHOLE BOTTLE AND MORE WATER TO SUBMERGE THE WHOLE PART INSTEAD OF DYING HALF THE PART AND FLIPPING IT OVER HOPIMG YOU GET THE SAME SHADE OF COLOR ON THE WHOLE PART. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE ONLY SUBMERGE HALF THE PART. ALSO TAKES TWICE AS LONG😂😂😂. 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙

Yep changes the look quite a bit works better with black.
