Love it, that's a great idea for a step apart from the main stream.
Looks really good man! Also, I'd forget about those stainless steel screws. They are super weak, bend like a paper clip. Just stick to the stock screws, and replace them as necessary, the kind of bashing you do will not be good for those stainless steel screws. They also usually have bad tolerances.
Good advice! I didn't realize that was the case, but if that's tru I probably will stick with the stock screws!

Honestly the stock one is great I would recommend either that or the castle 2200kv. If you want more torque put silicone earplugs in the center differential. I think what would be the easiest and most cost efficient would be to shoot traxxas an email and they will probably get you a discount or replace it straight out.
I've seen a few people burn out these motors, seems kinda strange. Personally I'd go with that Castle 2200kv RC Maniac suggested, or just get some cheapo Ebay motor. The Ebay ones will still fail after a little while but they are cheap enough that it's not as big of a deal.
@NerfCraft the traxxas motor for the erevo is great as long as you don’t over heat it. One good thing about it over castle is warranty traxxas will usually replace it.
@@RCMANIAC-YT Well, I guess if you overheat any motor it's not gonna be too happy regardless of who makes it. I find that Traxxas electronics are usually not terrible, but they also aren't good value. It's fine for a box stock truck, but if you're doing a ground up build or having to replace electronics, either go with a budget Hobbywing system that performs about the same, or go with a similar priced Castle and get some insane power out of it. lol

Yep... but just so you know it can’t dye a lighter color than the light gray that’s already on it. So if you did blue it would be a very dark blue or purple.

Yep. And if you try the blue and don’t like it you can always dye it black afterwards.
