    I got mine yesterday. I used steel wool to scuff up the surface and cleaned with rubbing alcohol before applying stickers.

    nice, got the proline brute bash on my 1/8 kraton and has held up way better than stock. It also helps by shielding components on upside down landings

    Yeah, a year ago I found out why the servo kept going out on my truck. The knob on the radio was turned up too high the managers son finally found the problem.

    Have you had any problems with The steering servo my steering servo keeps blowing out every other time I drive the truck the hobby stores keep changing the part but I keep having the problem do you think maybe the receiver could be bad it makes me not enjoy the truck

    • @RCMANIAC-YT
      @RCMANIAC-YT  Před 3 lety +1

      Oh boy... Yes I went through my stock 2085 servo in a matter of a week or two lol. I have since been through way too many of the 2085X (the traxxas upgraded one) and they just kept dying after one run. They of course were replaced from warranty still annoying tho. I first thought it could have something to do with the receiver so I replaced it and it still went out. I also tried using a different TQI transmitter and this was all happening when I was switching my esc and motor to the Max6 and 1600kV so I had replaced literally every single electronic piece in the truck. At this point I’m pretty frustrated as I still had another one go out. Replaced it yet again lol but this time I haven’t had any problems for at least 6 months. Sorry for the long answer lol I just have a lot to say about this because I got so wrapped into a chain of servo destruction lol.

      Honestly if I were you and could go back I would go straight for the Savox 2290 I’ve heard great things about that servo. It’s more powerful and it’s not Traxxas electronics lol. You will need an adapter and I think a new horn but I’m not sure. Do a quick CZcams search and I’m sure you can find out everything about fitting that servo.

      Its not servo fault its the way you drive and the way you bash landings etc.

      @@Sheldinator that's what Traxxas claims. I have run 20/46 for a while never had an issue ESC and motor is cool to the touch. Since I blew up the 46 tooth spur I put the stock 18/54 gearing back in it and I can tell you there is definitely not enough gear there

    Thanks for the video. My Russian Xmaxx body is getting long to the teeth, so I guess I can replace it with this one. I still think the Russian ones can take a little more abuse. I damaged mine mostly from skidding on pavement 🤣👍. The Russian body doesn't split like that, so the Russian one wins.

      So the landing on the back broke due to the rear skid. Kinda doubt that very much.
      I seen the landing it caught the corner where it does not flex as much hence the crack.
      It’s the material man it just cracks.
      I have a BasherBody from the Netherlands and it is by far way beefier than this one is
