Great videos. Got a xmaxx question. I hit a wall and broke the larger gear in the center diff. Replaced it and didn't use enough 20mil grease. It was too fwd bias. I added more and then stripped a gear again with no crash. Used an old one that was perfect and it just went out today. How much 20 mil crap am I supposed to use. Can you do a center diff rebuild video.

How are those tires? As in how is the grip and ballooning?
White bodies are 2 cm smaller than OEM. I had to drill 2 new mount holes for the rear mount arms. The black body was a struggle, it is only 1cm smaller but with a heat gun I was able to fit the oem hardware into the standard mounting position. So far so good. They take a beating but do not come with any stickers as advertised.
bummer, the more i hear about theses body's the more it turns me off.

If you actually want an unbreakable body, I had one sprayed with line-x and nothing I've done to has even dented it let alone worn a hole through it. The spray job cost me $40. Well worth not having to buy a new body every month.

The only downsides are it adds quite a bit of weight and decals wont stick to it, but in my opinion the benefits heavily outweigh the negatives.
If you've never heard of line-x its a truck bed liner, look up some videos of people putting it on watermelons and eggs, pretty neat.
how do you spray it with line-x or did you have to take it somewhere?

Damn! Why is ur Xmaxx so much more powerful then mine? What esc-motor is in the black one? Is it the gearing? What changes should i do straight away (with stock electronics) to get more torque? Or do i honestly need to swap the esc-motor out? I'm a Castle guy so i would much rather opt for the Mamba XL X.. If i swapped just the esc do u think that would work? Sorry for the stack of questions lmao! I just have some serious RC envy whenever i see ur Xmaxx as compared to mine lol! Oh and mine is the 8s V2, i got a smoking deal from Jegs with the charger and 2 4s batteries.. I hate traxxas connectors and i'm already going to be swapping out for xt150's or the castle connectors.. Thx a lot in advance Kev or anyone else that has knowledgeable Hands-On information

shoe goo and drywall tape :) also but a foam block under the bed to stop it flexing so much

I received mine a black in the mail the box an body was mashed flat had too take a heat gun in order too straiten out enough too use it right side was folded under the body an left side folded out an the front grill was pushed back over a inch or so it curved the front fender wells under on its self too me about four hours too heat it up an reshape it enough too get it too fit packaging sucked just a box that was taped just like kevs was but it was mashed

I bought one for my mt. It looked ugly. After some stickers was just ok.. so i bashed it.. it constantly loose its shape... Ok easy.. everytime you can just reshape it with some force .. its a soft ruber material.. after it developed a hole in the rear from scrubing . ofcourse NOT covered by waranty as the seller responded. So for me its a NO THANKS.. i paid it once.. was super excited but i prefer to have a shiny painted and diy reinforced body ,half the price.. and not a waranty scam
