  • Welcome back to the channel guys. In this video I wanted to show the top ten tires I think work great for the Traxxas Xmaxx and Traxxas XRT and more. The Arrma Kraton 8s and The Losi 5T lineup some of these work for those as well.
    If I were to pick a favorite tire, I think right now It would have to be the new #jconcepts #chopper beadlock tire and wheel. The Jconcept rubber is softer compound than say the Proline badlands, but they just have a different feel for performance is all. The other reason I will gravitate towards the Choppers is the have the interchangeable hex. This makes it so when the hex does break, you still have a wheel in great useable shape. Just replace the hex insert.
    Thanks for watching the channel, happy bashing and if you need any xrt upgrades or xmaxx #PnwRcMadness or #Trealhobby 7075 aluminum upgrades. Here is a link to my website:

    Nice rc tire review. I went with the Jetko 1/5 Belted low profile Tomahawk tires with red rims for 105.00 a pair for my XRT.😱😎

    I have been looking at tires and bought the Duratrax Hatchets last week. I like them a lot. They are very grippy and weigh in at 1 lb. 11oz or 762grams. Need to find myself a good street tire for my XRT. I like the stock tires because you can drift with them, but they seem to wear out very quickly.

    You skipped over the MX43’s completely. Are they the same weight as the JCons?
    No, i don’t have a Facebook.
    I use the MX43’s in my k8 and XRT, amazing tire, would love to compare them to the JCons.

    I was really hoping you would have the pro line menace road tyres to review. Where i live I don’t have access to dirt roads or grass . Only tarmac and i have ripped the stock XRT rires to bits in only 5 runs which is just crazy and of corse the cost .

      Thanks for tuning in bud!! I think I may get a set of those sooner than later and do a review. That does stink about the stock tires also, I like them but I’ve had two blow apart also. One of them was just going fast on grass. But yeah the cost is a bummer when they wont warranty for sure

    Has anyone had any issues using the adapter O-ring spacers? for tires I use the pro line Street belted tires mounted on raid 5.7 inch black wheels and using the O-ring wheel adapter I barely have any thread to bolt them down also even if I crank them really hard the tire still come loose from the hub I guess I will try lock tightening the bolts down but also has anyone lost any hex retaining pins with 5.7 inch wheels?

    I can’t get the proline badlands to mount to my traxxas xrt ultimate. When I tighten down the front wheels the tires won’t spin like something is rubbing. The rear’s mount ok but not the front. What am i missing here?
    Thanks 🙏

    Do you know what is the different between Pro line badlands mx57 pro10198-11 and Pro line badlands mx57 PRO10198-10 ?
    Which one has a belt and better?
    Because it is different only number.

    I got 635g for the stock xmaxx and 580g for the xrt and 600g for belted xrt tires, 680g unbelted sledgehammer, 750g for duratrax hatchet. Hatchets definitely feel heavier than the stock and belted tire when you hold em..

      If you're going with anything around the Trenchers weight, then I would consider switching gears. Not so much for snapping gears " depends on your drive style" but for engine heat, that's where you might run into issues. Again depends on a few things.

    Nothing destroys performance, breaks parts and sucks battery life like large heavy tires. It does not make sense why Pro-Line and other companies make them so big and so heavy. We really need a performance option, a nice lightweight beadlock and a tire the same size as stock but with a better tread pattern for improved traction. We need an actual race tire and rim combo.

    • @pnwRCMADNESS
      @pnwRCMADNESS  Před 10 měsíci +1

      I agree with this 100% I don't think they can manufacture one without the weight. The rubber has to be thick enough not to rip or tear. But i understand what you're saying 10000%

    • @BeautyBeastRC
      @BeautyBeastRC Před 4 měsíci +1

      Nothing gives better air correction than heavier tires. You shouldn't be crash landing with mx43's as they provide amazing air correction. I don't understand the cry for light weight tires unless you don't jump at all and stay on the ground. Light tires suck in the air.
