The badlands come in that same wheel as the masher also without the bead lock. You should try those out. MX57

I got the mashers on my XRT! Love those tires. It gives the car a really aggressive yet sleek look. I had some badlands on there and was running into overheating, but those tires EAT EVERYTHING! But the mashers are that sweet spot for all terrain. Thank you for the video!

That is why I buy Duratrax. Less weight and no heat issues.Hatchet x, Lockups,Bandito X I could go on and on. Belted with minimal rotating mass. Smaller wheels also. Those look sick though.
Love the hatchets on my XMaxx. Never had an issue with them.
Problem is every tire you mentioned is now discontinued. I can't find duratrax anywhere online or my local hobbyshop. Are you able to find them anywhere?

Hey Mark, I have the same wheels and had a wheel come off. There is a company that makes custom wheel nuts with a built in spacer so the wheel nut grabs more thread. If I can find a link I’ll send it your way

Great info like the Menace Tires for on the street 😎and concrete but, I went with the 'Jetko 1/5 Belted low profile Tomahawk tires with red rims' for 105.00 a pair for my XRT🤩
Been running the mashers for awhile. They hold up great on my kraton 8s with 800kv and 1:1 gearing, so I knew they'd be great on my XRT stock. One of my favorite tires

Used Duratraxx hatchets for my Xmaxx for the last few months. Amazing grip & super cheap. ($50 a pair) But they’re heavy. 740g per tire. They really wore down a lot of metal parts on the truck & I switched back to Sledgehammers.
I have the same ones , all 4 rims have cracks on this inside. Not impressed with the rims but the tires are good
Did you have any heat issue I want to put those on my xmaxx that is completely stock
@@aidancampbell2656 motor did run hot on stock gearing. I went down to a 16 tooth pinion & kept the spur the same. Truck only did about 40 with that setup but thats plenty for me. The forward traction on hatchets is insane.

Thank you so much for your review. I just ordered a set of menace tires for my XRT because I only ride the car on the street and I completely wrecked the stock tires in just 2 weeks of owning the car which I never expected them to were down so quickly. I just hope that the proline lasts much longer because here in Portugal they are very expensive. Shipping fee and import tax is costing me total just under 300€ which is crazy expensive. I can put 4 tires on my car for less 😢😢😢.
Great video, Im in the UK and its cold so dont think the XRT get warm enough to grip properly. Its like driving a drifter haha

Try out a set of the DuraTrax Hatchets. Belted, aggressive tread, and don’t weigh as much as those prolines!!

Mark id like to see a bunch of tires compared on an e revo 2.0 or sledge! Feel like both have very underwhelming stock tires durability wise. Revo tires like to hook and flip it too, might be too soft or too square at the edge 🤔🤷🏼♂️

Those are nice proline tires for xmaxx but ( duratrax hatchet x have more tread then those proline do .they are nice not dising on any brand .or u at all nice video .

Just get rid of the 17mm stub axels all together. I run m2c wide kit with the 24mm adapters and it opens up way more wheel options. You can run arma tires or even those you have with no washers its solid.
