That’s pure awesomeness. It’ll be interesting to see how well the chassis does and how much effective the braces are. Looks very sturdy. Traxxas plastic chassis are weak easy to break but aluminum bends and doesn’t flex. They went all out with this thing through.

E-revo 2.0 can absolutely handle 6s power. Can't wait to see a side by side real world bashing comparison to see if ithe sledge is worth adding to the collection
It shits it in especially the drivetrain, well engineered butter smooth and plenty strong
I don’t know what it is, I just love everything about the 2.0 ERevo, I purchased a second one used and dedicated it for street use. A nice tidy clever layout with unique handling, love the canter lever suspension and after the common mods are in place, rear brace, 85 straps, internal bump stops, Lunsford rods-links, protek servo etc I find mine to be close to flawless
ERevo and my exb outcast 8s are my two favourite bashers over my xmaxx, maxx v1 and kraton v4 and many other smaller 1/10 vehicles
I don’t know about this one, shall wait and see as you already mentioned plus I’m fussy and ocd, I don’t like that light blue color chassis 😩😂
Besides the toxic idiotic traxxas vs arrma thing (arrma forum is beyond toxic) it’s a beautiful thing because it keeps them both pushing for excellence and we who love this mad hobby all benefit from it

This is also 0.7kg heavier than the E-Revo 2.0, while being virtually identical size. I don’t think E-Revo 2.0 has anything to fear, this looks more like a WideMaxx alternative, or something for people to get instead of the 6S Kraton (this looks so much better engineered, I doubt the price will be an issue).

Love the channel! Me and my son got in to the hobby because of you, I finally able to buy him a slash 2wd brushed version that we both use and we love it! We both enjoy fixing it whenever we break something when we bash it, changing parts one by one is what keep us enjoy the hobby. I want this new truck it looks amazing. Those shocks I love Traxxas does build some nice shocks. The sledgehammer tires are great I love those. That chassis seems like it was well thought out and engineered I think it will hold up to most enthusiast driving. But for me I’m still going to buy the Erevo 2.0 I wanted and have been planning to buy first. This truck will have to wait lol

I am a crawler guy but this looks amazing I want one. My only basher I have now is a Axial Savvy Bomber with around 2k put into it, I put a 3800kv Castle mamba X system in and it rips but the Bomber isn't a basher until you build the hell out of it. This I could buy and leave it stock it's so epic. My baby is my TRX4 Bronco that also has around 2k put into it, I'm a Traxxas fanboy for sure.
E-revo motor is 2200kv and so is the UDR. This 2000kv has been on the traxxas link app for a long time and I couldn't figure out what it belonged to. Guess this is it.

Wow. Just wow. I felt like Traxxas was getting kinda stale since the Xmaxx, but this thing looks stupid good. I can't wait to see more of this platform.
I wish they had used the sleeved king pin/nut design on the maxx4s, then I wouldn't have had to get the treal c-hubs to keep them from popping apart on hard landings. Looks like a pretty well thought out truck. Only glaring thing I notice so far is that the motor placement makes it relatively impossible to put anything but a 4074 sized motor in it... just like the e-revo, so your stuck at that size. Which is fine for most, but when you start running hard in grass, having a longer motor with more torque is helpful to run cooler. Even with an aftermarket mount to allow a larger OD sized motor, your stuck with the length because there's no room.

I'm with you on it being similar to the kraton. I kind of like that traxxas makes their own cars that are different, but, like you said, maybe it's more durable. I cant keep my 6s Kraton going. It's always broken. I hope it doesn't replace the e-revo. I love mine.
id say a upgraded kraton is gonna. be so much stronger
@Gabe Brand well there is more than just the body system that is different but they are practically the same. I am wondering if they will have legal issues
@@titus.b1975 I’m sure a multi-million dollar rc company like Traxxas reviewed all possible legal issues and pursuits before even releasing this truck so I am going to say no they will not suffer any legal repercussions on this truck release

Yea. Don’t need adjustable links on basher. It should come with blue tooth module though
i have a summit that i put a castle 6s brushless setup on along with a metal dog carrier to make the transmission tighter. i figured since the summit was basically an e-revo with diff locks, it would better than the e-revo with a brushless setup installed. its absolutely insane on 6s, and i usually only run it on 4s because its much more controllable.
You had to be talking about the first gen Erevo, cause the Erevo 2.0 solved all the issues of running on 6s power. I've never had an issue running 6s on my 2.0

Hopefully now because you have to push the body backwards to get it on, the body won't be popping off so much. It looks like they put holes in the battery retainer so you can run velcro battery straps through it and keep it from opening.
There are body clip holes in the battery hold-down thingie. One on each side to lock it in place.

Lol. 2 weeks ago I was trying to decide between an Arrma Kraton exb and an Erevo 2.0. Ended up getting the Kraton (my first Arrma). Now I'm wondering if I should have waited. Looks pretty sick!
Kraton is still great! This Sledge will be awesome too but no doubt will be expensive and it'll be a while before upgrades come out for it. Enjoy that Kraton!

Exactly ‼️‼️‼️ An nitro sledge with a big block seems almost a given now that they have the chassis for it 😩😩😩
To me the nitro is the true hobby and also he said the 2075 servo is new it’s not it came on the nitro revo
Also it has the cut out for the spur gear in the chassis. Not only for lower cg but makes me wonder if there be a future nitro model. Alot of truggy chassis have that cut out for bump starter boxes.

Arrma already has 2 competitors to the XMaxx. The 8s Kraton and the 8s Outcast. Best one is a matter of opinion and a hot topic for debate, but they are similarly sized and priced.
