- Went To my local hobby shop and picked up the new Traxxas sledge got this thing out of the box and so far I’m really digging the looks and the car handles and jumps really nice time will tell how it holds together on the bigger jumps.

I think those are push connections on esc could be wrong but l thought they popped apart. Absolutely love this truck. But just bought the k6 exb so l have to wait a minute till the woman settles down to get this. Looks awsome great vid

It drives butter smooth!! I didn’t know they have orange! AWESOME VIDEO BARS&TONE🔥🔥 I wanted to put my two ball, I mean cents in. This is like the Erevo done right. The I know if I go pick one up tonight, I’ll break something, not because of the car, the driver! The maxV2 parts are still impossible to get. So I didn’t want to put it on a shelf for 6 months waiting for parts.
Yeah so far I’m really digging this car it drives nice it jumps nice handles really nice so we’ll see how she continues to roll

Nice colors, I like it! Just got my MAXX finally and I'm actually thinking about taking it back and picking up the Sledge. I think Traxxas first entry into Truggies is a winner for sure. and it's not much more than the MAXX so we'll see if the bug bites hard enough or if I keep the Truck I wasted 2 months on backorder at my Hobby Shop to get. Either way I don't think you can really go wrong so maybe???
Proline makes arms for the xmaxx that work like the sledge arms with thr stiffener plates

Well I had it out yesterday for its first proper bash and so far very impressed!
Can't wait to see more of this truck! It looks like it should perform well! 👍I really like the clip less design for this truck. Waiting to see if the body starts popping off during bash sessions. Great video David.
Yeah that’s one thing I’m curious to see how this body actually holds on with heavy landing but so far it seems like it should work pretty well.

I really like this new truggy from Traxxas. Hope it holds up and proves to be a lot of fun. Traxxas does do a great job on their body shell designs and colors. IMO…best designs in the RTR industry. Only wish this rig was less expensive. $800 out the door….UGH. 🤮 I would need to buy the aluminum parts to match the shell color. Center beam, shocks, towers, etc. Adds more to the overall cost.

Looks just like an Aarma on the outside.
There are similarities but it looks nothing like one under the body.
I am surprised you got the sledge. I think your the only one that show how the rear clips and the body support looks like (inside out).
To me I think traxxas come out with this at the wrong time, with quick inflation happening, who will have the money to buy a expensive truck, also I think parts for this sledge is not going to be cheap, hope this truck doesn't have a lot of weak spot beside replacing to m2c chassis at the future and maybe the tires.
I just got back from its first bash today and dude I was thoroughly impressed with this car and that’s one thing I will say about Traxxas parts for the most part they’re pretty cheap but we will see how it continues to hold up

Talked to a guy at Traxxas they are glued under the v channel beed on rim and then in usual spot. Double glued from what l understand. Sorry for all the comments 😅

Arrma does have the best tires I like it but for the money I'd get a Revo
Yeah but from what I’ve heard from many many people is that car cannot handle heavy bashing and that’s why Traxxas made this car so we will see how it does?
I had a 6s kraton. Emphasis on the word HAD. I got tired of going through diffs, wing mount bolts shearing off, the cheap bendy shock towers and the crap transmitter. I love my senton and typhon 3s, but I'll never buy a arrma 6s again. If i can bring myself to pay the price of this, then i may get one. It'll go great with my maxx....

At first I was super stoked about it but after seeing so many videos I’m not that impressed. And I truly don’t believe it’s worth the price
Well every car always needs some improvements out of the box but I will say this the car handles and drives very nice and it’s different from anything I have.
@@BarstoneRC I 100% agree with Everything needing upgrades but for that price it’s a little ridiculous. After you would get the upgrades your cost will be well over what you could’ve picked up an X maxx for. That’s why I’m not very impressed. I mean could you honestly tell people it’s worth the money?🤔

Yeah for extreme bashing I would only trust M2C 7075 chassis. I have those on my Outcast 8s and EXB K8S. And my Typhon 6s too. Hehe. It looks like a good rig. Maybe a roller off ebay would be a better choice since the Traxxas electronics suck and they don't last long term when it comes to hardcore bashing. Only the Traxxas motor would be worth buying from the RC chop shops. Hehe. Good stuff as always bud. Traxxas tires are weak. They will rip apart.
That would probably be a good idea because yes as we all know their electronics or junk and underpowered
I just last week picked up a talion 6s exb and I love it, but am thinking about selling for a sledge, any thoughts? I run mostly open grass with the dog chasing it along with forests, construction sites, and skateparks
For running like that I would definitely stick with the Talion.

Seeing a lot of guys complaining about steering, seems like yours handles decent? Maybe a tighter servo saver out of the box than other people have had? I know a loose saver can wreck steering performance

Some people don't like the speed of the servo.
It’s not super fast but that’s one thing I don’t really understand people wanting or needing a super fast servo on a basher?

Yeah but adapters mean voltage loss and connectors heat up it’s better off to run the connector that matches your batteries

The reason they should sue because they sued arrma over springs and now there suing someone for using the word max wth. To me it is a copy but also makes it the best Traxxas released in my opinion
I completely and utterly hate their corporate ways and I think they’re a terrible company however this car honestly is pretty nice and there’s really nothing inside of this car that is the same as a Arrma

Dude I had this thing at the skate park today and sent it pretty good a lot of times and this car completely impressed me I was really happy with it
