I got a build a lot like this but I got all vitavon for my WideMaxx, I like the WideMaxx Vitavon CV shafts with spline vs the Traxxas brand and GPM I also got Vitavon steering end link and caster and steering block. I like your orange build the GPM orange looks good but GPM red is way to dark for me. No one here really has a maxx kitted out as much as I do so I can't really compared it to other builds. But sick build cool stuff, really like the orange

How you do it without flat part on motor and the shaft?? The belt is too short and the rolls too tight together, cant get it fixed on my xrt

I just got mine in the mail today how much belt tension do you run?

On my belt drive, there isnt even 2mm space between the rolls and put em together, the 25/30 is so tricky and tight...i have vitavon motormount but i got to switch to pnw mount that i got from you cause the vitavon wont get the motor high enough, but it is pretty close between them...ill try later. But i dont understand how you use the belt drive on the shaft with still no flat Part, that definately not gonna work, ive seen the car not even drive 5 meters with that setup

What paddles are you running?

Yeah I want to get the front and rear axle carriers because of the larger outter bearings, and I need the diff housings and I'll be almost done upgrading it. Thers only a couple things left from the stock truck... Lots and lots of money 😂 but I'm keeping this one

Great build, i have just purchased the max 5 with the 1100kv motor, what 1.5 mod gears would you recommend for reliability but able to get to 50-60mph?

Hello Chris, how doing? Nice May i tell u something, i bought the gpm bevel gear Set and when i put it together again, the diff totally blocks it, so that the diff cant move and only when i loosen the Screw and not make it tight, it will work. But thats no Option, must be close proper. I have the gpm bellcrank and the vitavon upper bulkhead and the outer gpm diff Cover as like the gpm inner diff Cover, for the diff itself. Im wondering what to Do, put it back Stock but its triggeirrg me. No shimm will work, maybe a shim from the side will work, u have an idea, Chris? I can not shim when is too close, u know. Only works when theres space Btw belt drive is great and thanks for the free added extra belt, Shop is recommended, thx

Hey man, im doing an XRT build inspired on your build here. I want to try your belt drive and motor mount as well. Can you tell me what gearing you suggest? What was the gearing you put in this video vs what have you had the most success with (Fast and bash)? Also, what motor mount size for the 1100kv HW G2? 25mm or 30mm? Just having a little trouble confirming numbers before I order. Thx my man!

Was able to hit 78mph with your 25/25 belt drive, max 6 g2, and the 5690 1250kv. Only for a few passes though and it would start getting 150f+ on the esc. Ruined the foam in the belted gravix tires, do you recommend the proline tires you were using here?
