That first combat over the barricade with Gil Galad was done wrong. If you hit 2 models control zone over the bnarricade, you fight each model one at a time, so you should have done 2 fights, with Gil Galad fighting twice.

Isuldur is a beatstick. Killed like 4 orcs each round

Can you fight over a wall like that that’s higher than both model height??

Great batrep, last alliance is one of my favourite armies (Elendil is a beast) but in my opinion it shines in 1000+ points battles: so many good heroes to use. I have in program a 2vs2 1600 points each with those same armies. I would have charged the captain with Gilgalad: with blood and glory He could recover a might point.

Ooh I love the colour of that cape on the Elven Dead Marsh Spectre. You remember how you did that?

I'm a little late to the party, but that was a very entertaining game. I love that the Spider Queen was killed by Thranduil and one of her underlings went bat s*it crazy and paralyzed him. ha! I'm planning on bringing the FBoMW to a 600 pt tournament in a few weeks, I hope my MW Spiders keep throwing those 6's with their webs!

That WARG branding on the table 🤤 I'm not sure our naked Gollum pic has quite the same effect 😅

It hurts to see the great beast get merked like that! Not sure if you're aware of it but you can heroic march and still trample/end up in combat with War beasts. I love using it as a nasty little surprise when my opponent thinks they're just out of trample/charge range. A compel from the witch king would have been good too. Also having a shaman on a warg with fury up to auto pass the stampede checks means you can reliably keep your great beast in your lines.

20:28 After Heroic Combat, allied models engaged with the Hero can move again and charge. But don’t they have to end within 6” of the Hero? The Bannerbearer seemed to be outside of that. I could be wrong on the rule and the distance. Just asking to clarify so I know how to play it moving forward. Thanks guys!
