- In this video we have the pleasure of hosting the Last alliance of Noobs and men once again. Kyren and Sean run two armies they are looking at running at a local tournament in the near future. Both lists have some serious hitting power, but will the Gondor shooting heavy list put out enough hurt to stop the Morannon orc freight train from ripping them to pieces?

Loved your list Sean especially all those strength 3 bows and the double double bolt thrower
Also like your borimir on foot great way to keep him safe and keep buffing the army so tempting to go storming off somewhere when he is on his horse

Ouch, that shooting was brutal. From the match up I thought Mordor would steal it, but the 12” deployment was tough for them :0
Couple of turns there I thought a comeback was possible but the damage was already done for sure!
Those Last Alliance of Noobs and Men characters are a disreputable lot. They bring a certain seediness and air of roguery with them when they appear on other people's channels. And I like it. Cheers from Texas.

@@NoobsandMen Ohhhhh I always thought they called ya'll that due to the odor. I stand corrected! Much respect to all the OZ groups that are still making MESBG videos and haven't fallen into HERESY... while I sit here figuring out what sort of animal print Balin needs on his cloak.

We’ve been trying to film the first shooting phase but they generally add a lot of time to the report. We’ll have a play next video mate and see what we can come up witj!

9:38 New player here, so please excuse if this question seems silly, but wouldn’t the Warg get the benefit of 2 Attacks here due to the charge? I saw only one die thrown on the duel.
at 28:30 if a Target is transfixed/compelled they actually can not shield-block , but nice battle rep anyway! love the games between you and the alliance!

nothing more disappointing than a missed rule, potentially changing the result of a huge fight. Boromir did still have 5 might at this point, so may not have mattered too much.
Love a good old Gondor v Mordor scrap. Mordor just lost a fair few to shooting and couldn’t punch hard enough when it finally got to combat! Half the Gondor army didn’t need to do anything g

Yeah Mordor player did a poor job at denying shooting lanes...could have done some flank denial and used ruins for cover as he charged army up the corridor behind the walls.

All 3D printed bits and bobs, I’ll ask around the club and see if anyone remembers where the files came from mate.

I would drop swift reload on both bolt throwers and then find 10 points for a third one. More bodies and more hits on average.
3 would be pretty gross!

Hi Guys, I have a new player question. If you need line of sight to shoot at the enemy, how can you shoot through grass, rocks and purpose built fortifications? Am I missing something? Wouldn't this give the model a spherical shooting range of 360 degrees? I learned so much over the year watching your channels. I play against myself so trying to get all the rules right can be tricky for my brain, but I'm getting there. Thanks to everybody for their help and postings. MESBG Rocks!!
Hey mate, happy to help, if you can draw line of sign to any part of a model from its feed to head (excluding extremities, banners, wings etc.) you can shoot it. If that model is obscured partially by any intervening models terrain or structure then you have to roll an in the way to see if it hits the obstruction on the way to the target. This could be a 3+ for grass, 4+ for a timber fence or 5+ for fortress parapets. Hope this helps!
