- Hi all, going for something a little bit different today, we have a 20+ player tournament occuring over the coming weekend and wanted to take the oppurtunity to go through some of the lists that are coming and how they sit in the current Qld/Aus Meta. It is a departure from battle reports so please give us some feedback, based on your response hopefully we can provide more tourney related content in the future.

I am confused why there’s 6 points left in the Easterlings list? Am I missing something? Just get 3 more black dragons?

Yes, my list was the same as last tournament. i have found them to be the most competitive wraiths, and 2 castellans with S5 and morghul blades, is better than 1 more wraith, imo. I want to love Khamul, it's the coolest sculpt, but being forced to 2 hand is so harsh, and i find he spends most of his time resurrecting haha. the other 2 are just meh compared to the Slayers and the Knights.
Is Rohan bad in competitive events? Surprised on not seeing any of their lists in this.
They seemed to have taken abit of back seat of late. Definitely still think they are competitive! Our usual rohan suspect brought dwarves to this event!

Got nerfed a while back but also Rohan in general isn't actually that popular here in QLD, only a handful of people play em

Necromancer LL is trash, so i doubt that will podium again.
I'll back in Seans Gondor to podium, but it'll be between Survivors and Corsairs for first, i think.

@@bobdown9092 I had one match up that was 'good', but playing domination, so had to play a very good game myself. the next four games were against some of the best players in the room, and the league as a whole. Jeff had a rough scenario selection with assassination or to the death, so i was able to get him there. i still had to do the right things.
survivors got me on divide and conquer, he couldn't do anything to hurt me really, but i just couldn't clear 60 models off the objectives haha. sean R and i had a GREAT game of sieze the prize, where i pinched the objective off of him, 4 inches from my board edge, with the last dice roll of the game. riley and i then played fog of war in the last round, which was a very close game, but again, i had to make the right moves, and with the game going on a few extra turns i was able to clear him out a bit and get up. tremendous tournament. The list is very hard to kill, but you can certainly beat it.
