MESBG battle report - 1000 Subscriber Special, 2v2, Last Alliance vs Mordor

- Hey all, special thanks from the team at WARG for subscribing and generally embracing our content. Sorry the releases have been a bit patchy over the last two months, but we have some spicy bits and pieces planned for 2023 so stay tuned!
Today were mixing it up a bit, to celebrate hitting 1000 subscribers (997 at the time of writing) we are running a 1000 point 2v2 of last alliance vs mordor. Having not been available to film or partake in the battle report it was amazing how brutal the game was while editing with huge heroes going down left right and centre. So buckle in and enjoy the latest WARG battle report!

Missed a trick when the great beast got charged by Gilgalad and Elendil - should maybe have lined up a Witchking Hurl into the combat to take the two big boys off their horse and save the beast :)

Definitely could have. From memory the idea was discussed but the player was hesitant with all the F6 Kings guard. Glad you still enjoyed it!

Only thing I noticed was at the start. You don't get a cavalry charge charge bonus against a war beast.

I have some of those beautyful numenorean warriors from Davale, I bought them from Direforge. Unforntunately I only bought a few of them and they seems to be impossible to find Anywhere right now. Any chance do you have the STL files? I would pay for those
It hurts to see the great beast get merked like that! Not sure if you're aware of it but you can heroic march and still trample/end up in combat with War beasts. I love using it as a nasty little surprise when my opponent thinks they're just out of trample/charge range. A compel from the witch king would have been good too. Also having a shaman on a warg with fury up to auto pass the stampede checks means you can reliably keep your great beast in your lines.

Definitely could have! First time that player had really used a fell beast and was abit catious with it mainly because of all the F6 elves!

nice battlereport, but im wondering why didnt team evil simply compeled single elf warrior in the secind move phase. Then they should charge it with witch king and hurl the elf into the combat with great beast, at least knocking two big heroes from their horses :/
Lads are still a little bit fresh with monsters, particularly of the flying variety. I couldn’t believe how brutal the spell casting was! But using the fell beasts bpa would definitely have changed the game. Thanks for watching!

Witch king was pretty useful despite the black dart success. Flying the fell beast in behind the main line of troops could have turned it

Great bat rep but when gil and isildur charged the great beast they go charge bonuses which they don't receive against great beasts
Been into jarek about elves getting up to their usual mischief as soon as i edited it mate! Lads had a good time all the same.
