Apollo Futurebit BTC hash rate and profitability mining Bitcoin
Apollo Futurebit BTC hash rate and profitability mining Bitcoin: I have been running my Apollo Futurebit BTC on Slushpool for 4 days, gives an early indication of profitability .
** UPDATE ** October 2021: My UK Electricity distributor Symbio has gone bust and I no longer have 12.5p ww electricity, it is expected to jump to 22p kw and alas I can no loner mine profitably with this unit in the United Kingdom. I suspect the rise of power costs is being experienced across Europe.
Rough profitability numbers (early September 2021):
BTC at $50,000 = 0.2 USD
BTC at $45,000 = 0.11 USD
Mining stats & costs : stable 24 hours at 2.437 TH, Power 159 w, my electricity 0.17 USD.
Please subscribe, I would love to get to 1000 subscribers. Thanks for your support.
SET UP
You will need a power supply, if you know what you are doing you can use your PC spare cables from PSU (if it is strong enough, I think you will need a spare 300w).
If you have the standard version you will need a USB controller, I planned to use a raspberry pi 3b. The disk images for set up are here:

The website support page is a bit limited

Useful post. I have used the Xacti C1 and until recently the CA9 for rowing coaching and taking still phots everyday on the beach. Sadly now I've broken the internal SD card connector due to a broken edge of the SD card so it can't use the internal storage. I've bought these on eBay for minimal cost compared to a GoPro and now looking for a replacement. So, I will check out the Panasonic version.

I had older an Time Capsule, the 5Ghz band started failing, so I replaced it with a 6th gen A1521 Airport Extreme and was so impressed with it, I bought a second one, disabled the wifi router portion on my modem. At around ~$20-30 dollars on eBay/Craigslist/etc.., they're a pretty damn good investment. I have 1 Gbps Fiber Optic, and with these routers on the 5Ghz band, I get up/down speeds of 600 Mbps. I just bought a 3rd Airport Extreme to extend my network.

These are still very useful as long as you have managed expectations. Finding working batteries is getting tough. I just finished upgrading a friends 900mhz iBook G3. It natively boots into OS 9 and OS X 10.4. Ram is limited to around 650mb. Still, it surfed the web really well in Arctic Fox. Office 2008 still has a lot of compatibility with newer versions and even Docs, as long as the file is saved as DocX. I was so impressed with the performance of that iBook, that I want to find one like yours. He bought this for vintage gaming, which it does well. My Power Mac G5 can access OneDrive and iCloud for my files. I think this G4 should be able to as well. The two modern websites I use the most that really do not work well on PowerPC is Facebook and CZcams. Yes, there are work arounds, but at the end of the day, my phone is a whole lot easier to use. iTunes no longer works on a lot of older version of Mac OS X including Leopard. You can listen to internet radio and NPR podcasts (they must still use an older protocol). I found a podcast player extension for InterWebPPC (FireFox) that works well. It is easier to download your podcasts and then play them through iTunes or some other players. You can listen to Pandora commercial free (even without a premium subscription) using PianoPPC (I think that is the name). At the end of the day, using a PowerPC Mac is a novelty more than anything. I have so many modern computers (work laptop, personal Windows laptop, M1 MBA, Surface Go) that even if I was in a pinch, I wouldn't have to resort to using one of my PPC machines. Though, there is something undeniably neat about knowing that I could get by using my PPC machines. It is too bad Zoom and Skype, even the browser versions, no longer work.

Good time of day. Tell me if you know if this LS84 model can work from the mains, without a battery. I have a 12 volt 2 A pen power supply, when I remove the battery from the DVD and just plug it through the power supply to the outlet, nothing happens. I had an experience with another portable DVD, and there when you unfasten the battery, you can plug the dvd itself into an outlet and it works. So the question is, does this ls84 dvd work without a battery, just from the mains?

They can reach a maximum speed of 550Mbps on both upload and download and is still blazing fast(with a total of 25 devices connect via Wi-Fi to both APs).
