I know this is 4 months old but let me tell you the secret: Every Maaco has a different painter and bodyman. MAACO CHANGED THE WARRANTY AND IT'S CHEEKS NOW. YOU GET 5 DAYS AND THEN YOU'RE TOAST. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I have read some reviews on the Rustoleum product and was wondering how long you have been using it? There are other products like Eastwood Fast Etch and OSPHO. Have you tried others or had any rust problems popping out later? Thanks for sharing.

Even if you didn't pay for body work, they should have called you to double check...

I use Maaco a lot, the issues you point out are your problem. You want to inspect the car once it is in primer, walk around the car and point out dings/dents you want repaired, sometimes that will increase your cost. 2. Marco uses the same mexicans, as the expensive shops, you just need to be MORE INVOLVED... Go see the car one last time BEFORE it goes into the paint booth... <<AGAIN, YOUR FAULT.... Lastly... A Range Rover??? REALLY? you put a $3,000 paint job on a $1500 car?? rethink your life choices... that 24 month Macco paint job is going to far out live that Rover.

Is it possible to use the filler to hid the fender bolt on slots and lines and get the car to look like it was all original? I have a Nissan 300zx that I am thinking about adding a wide body kit to, but don't want to be able to see any of where the body kit meets up with the original body after I paint it. Is that doable? Would it last?

Leave the windows down and they'll paint the interior at no extra charge. Leave your girlfriend in the car and they'll paint her for free. You should have painted it yourself with Rust-Oleum turbo rattle cans. 😊

MAACO ALWAYS DOES CRAP PAINT JOBS! ALWAYS!

For 3k I would not expect the glass removed for painting, but I would expect the dents to be fixed. Runs should have been wet sanded and polished at minimum. I bet less than 5 hours prep was done.

Paint overall from what I could see looks decent. The fact those dents are there looks terrible and I would be pissed if I payed to have that fixed. I mean even if it was fixed but didn't look great would be better but they didn't even touch that.

Unfortunately it seems like no matter what you pay Maaco their quality remains the same.

Take it back for repair. It's used to be 300 to paint the whole car .I did mine chevrolet Iroc z 1985 to red color but they painted orange color insyead so they had to redo the whole car all over.They wanted to charge me but told them it's their fault not mine.

Typical Maaco...... Unfortunately, no one else wants to paint because of the time and money involved. Paint jobs are reserved mostly for restoration shops now, and you could easily drop 20K with those guys.

You probly couldve watched some vids and done a better job yourself. My first paint job was way better than that.

FACT IS, Maaco paintwork is only as good as THE MANAGER of the shop. I have had over 30 cars painted at local shop managed by a great Mahager, and the work has always been very good. ALWAYS check the QUALITY of your selected shop BEFORE having your car painted.

Come on now you expecting 20k worth of work on vehicle that was in bad shape. The vehicle was a piece of 💩. You got 3k worth of work

Looks Horrible

Always found it odd when people want their 4x4 lifted to fit a larger wheel/tire combo, but to a narrow sidewall ratio that’s functionally useless offroad lol. It just looks goofy, especially with an external roll cage. Those tires will peel like a banana WAY before that thing ever gets close to tipping over. To each their own of course. I just don’t get it 🤷‍♂️

The orange peel is crazy

How do you know which side is broken, the one to the wheel or the one to the transmission? I replaced CV Axles on 2001 Saturn SL2 like 1 - 1.5 years ago, and now it started to give a slight clicking noise on sharp turns to the right (when you basically go on the circle in clockwise direction). When the car goes straight, no noise, so I think it is the left (DS) CV Axle. Maybe I moved it too much on installation, maybe just such aftermarket part (though it is Cordona, seems like no complaints about them). So, if I remove that CV Axle, can I find out somehow which side of it has a problem? Or it is better to take apart both ends? Thank you for the informative film.
