Glad you found a use for the clay. Next, I need to send you an oscillating power tool, with a fine toothed carbide blade. You will never go back to any rotary type cutter for composites again. A fraction of the dust.

Be careful with the heat wrap for the exhuast, they like to collect oil so ive found out. I had a c10 with oil on them and it caught fire.
Fix your oil leaks before installing exhaust wrap , “they like to collect oil” lol yea if oil makes its way on to the wrap
@@INORBET it wasnt a big fire or a lot of oil but it was enough to make me pull over and check it out, only a couple wires got fried
LED PROJECTOR RETROFIT, LIKE THE ONES IN JEEPS, or the retrofits in old pickup trucks.
Please look into it, this thing looks awesome with the grill and i think led headlights will take it to the next level.
Could you mould a grill out of smoked or black perspex? Drill a pattern of holes for airflow, bit like new BMW's, stick badge on top like you have?
I was thinking the whole time a bronze grill to match the wheels would look insane. So glad to see the mg back

Grille is a great addition. Keep the MG emblem chrome but paint the grille and headlight bezels the same bronze as the wheels.

I’d say stick with the chrome. Or if you wanted it to be bolder make it bright orange with the British racing green it’ll look like the Rover 200 BRM which is cool

If your gonna keep the chrome accents the grill should be chrome aswell
If you intend on keeping the other trim pieces chrome then truly, I'd say go with a chrome grille. It gives it an older classy look while still being incredibly aggressive due to the widebody. Either that or fully black out all trim pieces with a semi gloss. Go with a flat black on the spokes with a high gloss black lip. Just a thought 😅

As a trial colour could you paint it like a fluorescent orange? Homage to the old Rovers in the UK too! Google them, they looked pretty cool lol

Would leave the bronze to the wheels only, cannot picture how would be color match. You still have chrome details in the car, what do you want to do with it? But for sure the rims for headlights should be green, helps to de-age the car in my opinion

you should really wear a respirator when cutting and sanding fiberglass man. and you should also tape up your paint before you start cutting it. it’ll chip it

Just my two cents worth, I think the color of the rims would look good on the grille and the headlight bezels. Some led lights would look killer on this which are available from Amazon some of the Jeep people run ones from Harley motorcycles

Definitely black. Don't color match wheels because you may change the wheels with a different color.
You should try finding same size motorcycle led headlights and replace those oldie halogens.

Carbon fiber wrap on that grille would look amazing. I would also get the MG badge recreated in carbon (vinyl) to match, light carbon for the background and dark for the logo and border. You could also wrap the headlight rings to match to tie it all in together.
