Ken, for the sake of this conversation, let's assume there was a global flood and an Ark with animals and Noah's family on board. If this was the work of God, how is this love? Why would He end the lives of men, women, and children for exercising their free will? Why is this highly immoral act not the focus of every Christian? Well said, Ken. We can either believe God about Genesis, or we can believe man. We cannot do both. Compromising Genesis only leads to the compromise of other doctrines in the Bible. And it destroys Biblical authority at a time when men desperately need God's Word to guide them back to the Lord.

You are calling the day a 24 hour day , however I can't tell you which part of the Bible it's in , but I recall where he god said :; his time is different from ours! He said for him a day is as ten thousand years for us !! This is why he also says : ; you are only gone from me for a little moment !!! So if you count the day in his reality it would be 60,000 years in our time , and the seventh day, or his day of rest , would be another 10,000 years in his time !! That being said , I don't claim to know for sure, as you seem to be claiming! I'm just saying what I think the time line is !! I always thought that a day was a cycle the sun must go around the earth to complete so a million years could go bye and still be the same day if the rotation of the earth is slow enough and if it is not moving you could extend a day to eternity. Time is based on how long it takes for an action takes place is my current understanding

What about those who claim that the seventh day did not cease ie the seventh day is still in progress since the scriptures never indicated the end of the seventh day

I watched the first 20 seconds or so of this presentation before I realised how ignorant this man is on the subject of geology, paleontology and hydrography. Just because fossils are found all over the world in sedimentary rocks does not prove a global flood event. It proves that bodies of water (oceans, seas, lakes, rivers and ponds occurred all over the globe in ancient times.

The global flood is a myth -- full stop! Mountains of natural evidence dictate that it not only DIDN'T HAPPEN but that it's NOT POSSIBLE. Now THIS is what I call a scientific discussion. Was there a flood? Well, the Bible says there was. Was there an ark? Well, the Bible says there was. Checkmate, atheists.

From a practical standpoint I just don't see how all those animals could have fit on a ship that size. All the animals of the world, their feed(meat for some, bamboo for others, fish for others, grasshoppers for others, hay, some animals will only eat live food, etc), manure disposal, different climate needs, etc was all possible on the ark. Also with so few people to manage it all? I don't see how it's possible. Just the number of species alone would not fit on the ark. Not even close. How do believers get past these issues??

This man has forgotten that the creation story is a story to be told to people of little education. I have no doubt the hand of God created to heavens and the earth but not in 6 actual days. Dude, The Bible contains descriptions of things that common sense tells us could never happen - we really don’t need to refer to “science”. For example, I believe that any five year old familiar with the properties of water would instinctively know a person cannot walk on it - this knowledge has nothing to do with science or education. As that five year old got older they would know that water cannot magically be turned into wine, that a person cannot successfully command a dead person to come back to life, they cannot cure someone genuinely ill using only words. They would know that a virgin cannot become pregnant “by magic”. They would know, again without recourse to science, that the entire Earth could not be covered with water, that women did not originate from the rib of a man, that creatures other than humans cannot “talk”. There is almost no end to the things in The Bible that an ordinary person of average intelligence will know could not have happened. Now, if it was observed that some people who really were clinically dead (no ifs or buts - they really were dead) could come back to, life then “science” would be there straight away trying to find out why this could happen. If a person appeared who could, with no artificial aids, walk on water, again, “science” would be there. The thing is, such things aren’t observed; there’s nothing to investigate or explain. It doesn’t happen. “Science” hasn’t “disproved” these things, we just know (or should know) they can’t happen. If you want definitive proof that the bible isn’t true, look to the bible, it frequently tells you that it isn’t true. I mean, look, there’s John, telling you that something in Genesis isn’t true, or is Genesis telling you John isn’t true? It could be that both are false, but it is impossible for both to be true. I’m inclined to believe John though, as it is more likely that nobody has ever seen something that simply doesn’t exist. But we know he meant that God does exist, just nobody has seen him, hence it is possible for both bible statements to be false
