I am 70 years old and have been a christian for the last half of it ,today I learned a lot of truth that I wish I had learned when I was younger ,and just maybe if I had had this Dr. Ham teaching, I would have made a lot less messes in my life and my families lives. Thank you Lord God Almighty for your teaching through Ken Ham and answers in Genesis. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, change the things I can and the Wisdom to know the difference.
Life is a journey. As long as we find our way home, that is what matters most. If we hadn't taken a winding path we wouldn't be who we are now.

@@jharvey9898 That my friend is exactly how religion works. It uses fear and threats to entrap you. Saying that if you don't believe, you will spend eternity in suffering and torment, whilst simultaneously claiming that their God is a loving caring God. Both cannot be true and in my opinion neither are true. However, if this God is prepared to punish someone for eternity for simply not believing, then I would argue that he does not deserve to be worshipped. On the other hand if God is truly loving and caring, then you have nothing to fear by not worshipping him, because he will still love you whatever. Once you realise this you can live your life free of all pressure and worry in the knowledge that religion is not the answer, in fact it is just another problem.
You can't teach what you don't know. We truly do not know God. We must start all over from the beginning. Thank you, Mr. Ham!!!

@@vivienhall1468 We know that souls live forever in hell...death of the body and death of the soul are two very different things. The body or flesh dies yet the soul lives on either in heaven within a new eternal body or eternally in anguish in hell.

Very true. Today's kids are aimless and depressed and purposeless, without the Lord, such things are gonna be common among the people. We need the Lord more then we need air.

Bible says in Genesis Ch. No. 1 Verses No. 3 and 5,…‘Light was created on the first day.’ Genesis, Ch., 1 Verses, 14 to 19… ‘The cause of light - stars and the sun, etc. was created on the fourth day’. How can the cause of light be created on the 4th day, later than the light which came into existence on the first day?
@roscius6204 you do realize that the sun and stars are not the only sources of light right? Genesis 1:3 does not name the source of light, but if you look at Genesis 1:2 it's possible to guess what the source of the light might have been

Again the source of that light is not explicitly stated, but judging from how the verses are laid out it's not unreasonable to guess that the Spirit of God was the source of the light.

I'm going to break your strawman argument by addressing your first and second sentences as independent statements. I'll then address your third sentence
Your first sentence,
Considering God created everything it would be dishonest to not sight God for all things explainable as well as all things that are inexplicable, but that is not my go-to explanation of how He did something.
Your second sentence,

Unless the person's guessing is knowingly supporting a falsity, the person guessing can never be called a liar. You can say they are wrong, (which as far as creation goes I'm not wrong, He created everything) but you cannot say they are lying.
Addressing your last sentence:

As a believer it would have been nice if God would had included more detailed information in His Word, not for the purpose of showing proof, but because it would be interesting to know how He did things.
In defense of my original statement:
"not unreasonable to guess"
My guess in this case is very reasonable considering the justification for my guess about verse 3 is verse 2. Just like if you see that a person is all wet and they are standing next to a pool it is not unreasonable to guess that the pool is the reason they are wet. It's still a guess though. Somebody could have poured a bucket of water over their head while they were standing next to the pool, and that's the reason they are wet.

Particles-to-people evolution is one of the biggest examples of the non-believer's foolishness. I can only pray God openes your eyes so you can see just how foolish it is.

Ken ham is the biggest conman we have seen on the face of this planet. If creationism is so true who’s stopping you from changing the world? The reason is because they got no evidence only faith and explanations which again have no evidence.

In the stories of the patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac Jacob) we read about camels and caravans of camels, although the stories happened before the camels were domesticated in the Levant region and before the trade routes of camel caravans opened.
The reason is that the books were written later, in the days of the camel trade, by people who did not know it was a relatively recent development.
Abraham's camels: historically not true beyond any reasonable doubt.

That we may enter HIS gates w/thanksgiving & HIS courts with praise,(David knew). Praying according to The SPIRIT of Holiness in Truth, (Apostle Paul knew&told us what most Holy prayer was). Thank you so much for this very simple explanation. I am mere beginner. I attended a couple of churches a few years ago. In both I had a feeling altho I didn't understand what I was feeling. I have always believed in God and Jesus being sent to earth. The lines become blurred in my teenage years. I wasn't interested in school and got caught up with older people doing drugs and alcohol. That life continued I had a family three children. The relationships didn't work out. At 38 I was broken spiritually and knew I couldn't continue. I prayed for God to help me. I have been sober 13 years. After attending those churches I decided to read the bible. I am nearly at the end of the New Testament for the second time and looking forward to starting the old with Genesis.. My brother is a Catholic, he tells me I dont need to read the old testament but I have known somehow that it needs to be read. You simplified this for me today. Thank you for all your hard work. Greetings from Ireland on 2nd Sept 2023, as I rejoice and thank God my loving Heavenly Father, for earlier today, putting up on my phone this teaching by Ken Ham, which blessed me above and beyond any other teacher I have come across to day, with perhaps the exception of Edward Hendrie, also excellent and of very great blessing too but dealing in other, also much needed areas but mostly through his books particularly his most recent 1,100 one dealing with the whole vaccine wickedness from ever angle. But Ken Ham is rightly dealing with the attack on the BIble and has helped me to see this so very clearly thank God and of course when you see and understand this than all else fits into place. May God very greatly bless and protect every one of you who in any way worked on getting this into my hands so that in turn, although in my 85th year thank God, can share it with many others together with three others of his tapes I have also listened to thank. By the very great grace of God, I and my family were saved out of the Roman Catholic church but thank God have a God given deep love in my heart for them and ask all reading this please to lift them up in prayer as they truly think they are on their way to heaven.
I truly appreciate and respect Ken Ham and AiG for bringing the whole topic of "foundations" before people in general and religious organizations specifically. This was an extremely good presentation with one exception. That being how he discussed "Valentine's Day." Although AiG does good in Genesis, there are other very important issues which seem to be ignored or put on the back burner such as the worship of pagan deities in the days celebrated. See Deuteronomy 12:2-4, 29-31 and then look up the history of Valentine's Day. Like most things that "seem" harmless, they are not. Other days modern folks in our country (and elsewhere) celebrate which fall into this category include Ishtar Sunday, Saturnalia and even the FIRST day for worship (all counterfeits of Satan). Again, you do a great job on foundations but would like to see you take it all a step further, also based on the "extra" foundation of the remainder of Genesis through Deuteronomy, confirmed by Messiah.

The bible really is the Owners manual for life.
Herod the Great never slaughtered infants as described in Matthew- despite there being many chroniclers of Herod's abuses, this little gem appears NOWHERE but the bible. Even Flavius Josephus, who extensively recorded Herod's evils, mentioned nothing of this event, which he would have if it actually occurred.
There never was multiple Gospels by multiple authors. The Gospel was originally one book, written by Lazarus in consultation with the Apostles [John 21:24] and published soon after Jesus left them on their own. The religion was hijacked by Rome, the Gospel was broken up scrambled adulterated into a bunch of competing narratives. Later four of those adulterated gospels were canonized with falsely ascribed authorship and a Gnosticism cover-story. It was the finding of an original Gospel of Jesus scroll in Jerusalem that gained the Knights Templar power over the Church and their eventual undoing when the church finally retaliated against them Friday 13th.

Matthew 27:52-53 claims that when Jesus died graves were opened as zombies rose from them and this was seen by many people. If a city under Roman occupation was invaded by zombies don't you think at least one contemporary historian would have written about it? Needless to say, there is not one historical documentation of an actual zombie uprising.

Ken you are spot on with this we can't honor the father with out honoring his son and we can't honor the son without honoring the father .

I deal with this all the time, the younger people are negating the Bible in favor of what they wish the Bible to say rather than what God actually meant. They are hostile toward anyone who will challenge their attitude with the Bible. I cannot number all the people I speak to who claim to be Christians who fight against the truth of God's Word. These younger people, and I mean under 30 up to age 60 who become hostile toward me when I say; "that's not Biblical", they not only won't ask what I mean they refuse to hear if I do try to explain and then they exclude me from their group. Family is the worst, they are all involved in Pentecostalism in which they act as though they believe; "if it works it doesn't matter if it violated God's Word." They also take scripture out of context making it say something God never said. They use the bible as they would any novel they enjoy.
Matthew 27:52-53 claims that when Jesus died graves were opened as zombies rose from them and this was seen by many people. If a city under Roman occupation was invaded by zombies don't you think at least one contemporary historian would have written about it? Needless to say, there is not one historical documentation of an actual zombie uprising.

@@joannenash2759 When I say Pentecostal I mean those who belief that the sign gifts still happen, which I have no problem with but they misuse tongues, they "claim" things as though God owes it to them, they are works oriented believing they are blessed or saved by their works. They name themselves after the occurrence on Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came down on the people. The interesting thing is that they believe their false tongues are real but they are just blabbering and they make it happen, it has nothing to do with the Holy Spirit. Pentecostals often take scripture out of context to make it say which ever situation they wish it to apply to not carrying if it matches with what God actually said.
On Pentecost as described in Acts Peter spoke to the people and each one heard it in their own language. Tongues were earthly languages so they could speak to one another the gospel, it was not a "heavenly" language. The tongues in churches now is babbling, they are told to just open their mouth and whatever comes out is tongues. There often is no interpretation of the tongues and everyone is speaking all at the same time in violation of the scriptures that teach orderliness. They are so far off on many things disobedient to the Word of God.

The policy of AIG and others of not pushing for creationism and evolution being taught in mainstream schools so that pupils can hear both sides is a major issue Ken. After all this is what education should be, hearing both, doing homework and then making up the mind.
Actually there is no other side. It would be like asking why schools don't teach both sides that thunder is the sound of lightning or it is the sound of old men in the sky playing nine-pins.
Should schools also teach that diseases are caused by germs AND by evil spirits so that students can hear both sides and make up their minds?
I think I clearly haven't made myself clear. I am a creationist and really appreciate what Ken and AIG do. But AIG have a policy of not insisting that public schools teach creationism because they would not teach it right, so kids do not hear the truth of the Bible about foundations unless they are part of a church or Christian family that teach it! This is a huge part of the problem. Public schools only teach the ancient pagan belief of evolution repackaged as science by Darwin et al. When I was part of the largest Christian political group in UK I put it to the conference that their policy on education should include teaching creation as well as evolution. The conference accepted the proposal. It was overturned by amendments. However when I discovered the policy of AIG and another large creation movement, I stopped realising if they did not support it the battle was lost!

I don't see how creationism could be taught in schools. There's nothing for the kids to learn beyond saying God did it. What happens when the kids ask How God did it? What mechanism did he use? How can dust be transformed into a living being? What were the original 'kinds' that God created? Beyond 'God did it' what is there to learn in a creation lesson?

I am a Christian and an immovable believer in Gods Holy Word. I have been to some churches where I live and they have taken scripture out of context to squeeze a few more dollars out of the deceived believers. I know it’s helpful to keep the lights on, and I gave what I could. But him driving and $80,000 vehicles and thought I should sell my $8,400 car and give more to the church! His coffers was about a third more while I was going there. I was disappointed to say the least. I want to witness and fellowship with others. And I do often. I’m not catholic and since the other churches were financially motivated. I don’t go. Should I go to a church that makes me cringe for the sake of going? I felt K Copeland was possessed. I’ve never seen an angrier fraud. Also I’ve noticed translation errors in some Bibles. If the major message of the gospel is correct? Would that be sufficient? I have a KJV and a Strongs concordance.

Immortality of the soul comes from pagan philosophy. In God's word we are taught that only God is immortal. This is important since Jesus said, "And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. A lot of false doctrine and cults have come from the belief that God created man with an immortal soul, including Gnosticism. Augustine of Hippo brought Gnostic ideas with him into the church, which influenced and continues to influence all Christian denominations to this day. The false doctrine of immortality of the soul affects the gospel message. The gift of God is eternal life to all who have faith in God's Son. Gnostics and other cults believe life exits outside of eternal paradise with Jesus, whether it be eternal living torment or otherwise. The Bible makes it clear that those thrown into the lake of fire are destroyed. Eternal life is only given to those who are in Christ. That is the gift of God to those who obey the gospel. The judgment upon the wicked is eternal, not their lives. God's word is consistent on this matter.
