Hi Tommy, greetings from Denmark! I’m a 24 year old health care worker and a have a patient who was a Junghans wall clock like yours, except it’s made from wood. I don’t have any knowledge about clocks and winding them but I came across your videos. He asked me if I could help him wind his clock and I tried helping the best I could but it really didn’t do anything. His wife used to do it when she was alive but sadly she died due to cancer 2 years ago and the clock just sat on the wall, all lifeless - until now. So the question is; How do I wind it? Thanks a lot, Lukas.

I just got a herweg twin bell today for my birthday and the entire clock movement is made out of plastic besides the balance wheel and springs the plates are plastic 😂

Ive worked on this movement in a dutch wall clock and the pivots were very worn and the plastic gear cracked, this movement is bad quality in my opinion, it has plastic gears and has very very thin plates, i have a 8 day La Castel clock in the work as tommy may know its swiss, it had a broken click. The plates are 3 times thicker there! But this clock does look stylish for being modern.

It's certainly a modern reproduction of an antique clock, but it still looks ok. The dial looks a little empty, to be honest, and perhaps an extra 3D frame would have made it a bit nicer. Great addition :)

Funny thing is, that is not just SIMILAR to a Regula Movement, it IS a Regula Movement.

This has become probably one of my favourite clocks from your collection :) It has that unusual semi-transparent green disc (I love green), the movement and chime setup are rather unusual, and the small art deco case looks very nice. The dual-chime Urgos has it's own charm, but I think this one is a bit nicer. I'm glad that you got it working, and I hope to hear again from you soon :)

Hi, Tommy! That's a lovely little clock, I wasn't expecting such a tone of chime for the size. I guess that's the power of that type of chime block! :D I remember the term "underslung" you used for the more usual type of chime block, the flat one. I can't quite remember what you call this type of chime block... Overslung? I love that slightly transparent acrylic for the face, being able to see into clocks has been a big thing for me ever since I got into this hobby.

That's a really beautiful Clock, I purchased an urgos dual chime clock about a month ago my one however doesn't have the chime rods mounted behind the Movement but underneath the Movement and it has the standard version of Whittington unlike your urgos dual chime clock, but apart from that it's almost exactly the same as your urgos dual chime clock.

alot of cuckoo clocks here in slovakia have the same movement as this cuckoo clock the B100 is Baduf 100 movement. they have loud goveners and cool and comoact. here in slovakia ive come across unmarked ones and ones marked JMIUS.

LOVE this, have 11 mantel clocks, including 3 Lindens (three melody), yours is amazing, so unique, and the tone is superb! Have one of mine apart (about 1934) replaced main spring. Westminster chime worked fine before dismantling, now mechanism is all screwed up, working on it has made it worse. Either way, I have rebuilt 3 big block engines, but the chime mechanism on an antique clock baffles me! LOL! Again, yours is incredible! 😀

these motors must be impractical or am i wrong. very cool tho better than modern electric chimimg clocks with speakers
