Wow, I really didn't expect that they would still use ogee type count wheels in the 20th century... but oh well. It's a really nice clock and a good replacement for the New Haven :) It is true that american clockmakers weren't that good at tuning chime rods... At least some of their coiled gongs had good resonance (My ogee has a really loud gong with great resonance).
