Hi, I am a commercial pilot and I am really passionate about aviation accident investigation. In this channel I reproduce aviation accidents’ flight path using X-Plane simulator and referencing to official final reports. I try to put the viewer in the pilots’ shoes with coherent weather and light conditions.
I have decided not to sensationalize these events as a form of respect for those involved.
If you would like to see a particular accident in my next video, please tell me by commenting below any of my content. Enjoy!

Pilot With No training Crashed Airplane | What Really Happened
On September 29, 2019, about 1600 eastern daylight time, a Cessna 421, N731PF, was substantially damaged when it impacted trees and terrain near DeLand Municipal Airport (DED), DeLand, Florida. The commercial pilot, pilot-rated passenger, and aft-seated passenger were fatally injured. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the accident, and no flight plan was filed for the Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. The owner of the airplane stated that he purchased the airplane on June 21, 2019, and that planned to make repairs and resell the airplane. The airplane was based at DED at the time of purchase and had not undergone an annual inspection for several years. The owner hired a mechanic to make the necessary repairs and conduct an annual inspection of the airplane. During the inspection, the mechanic informed the owner that the left tachometer generator and the fuel gauges were inoperative and that other items also needed repair or replacement. Once the work was done and the annual inspection was signed off, the mechanic would find a pilot to transport the airplane to Texas, where the owner resided. The mechanic subsequently found a pilot who he thought would be able to fly the airplane to Texas (the pilot-rated passenger).

This Is Why Planes Don't Fly Over The Pacific Ocean Anyone who has traveled to locations in the Pacific knows that there are very rarely flights that fly over the entire ocean. Rather, they choose curved routes that fly over larger bodies of land. If you are interested in becoming a flight dispatcher, you are most likely curious about the best way to plan a flight from one end of the Pacific Oc...

Private Aircraft Crash In The Mountains What Really Happened
zhlédnutí 575Před 11 měsíci
While there are many reasons why a plane might crash into terrain, including poor weather and navigational equipment failure, pilot error is the most common factor found in CFIT accidents. Behind such events there is often a loss of situational awareness by the pilot, who becomes unaware of their actual position and altitude in relation to the terrain below and immediately ahead of them. Fatigu...

Astonishing.
Never try to troubleshoot a low cabin pressure warning. Put on your oxygen masks immediately and make an emergency descent. You have only 5-10 seconds of useful O2 in your brain, not 30-60
Your entire video depicted the atlantic ocean though! Nice explanations anyhow, thanks.
The narrator sounds Lyké Boomer I guess Wojac was thé Piloté
Great video, it's amazing how people ignore the great content because they don't like the sound of a voice. 😂
no cruise control is crazy
seems like DUMB AND DUMBER has a sequel
5 day Learjet training and they marked him crashed on ILS approach, I mean if there was any indication to keep him out of a Learjet that would be it.
clearly something else happen
"Zuh-GREBB"? Never heard of that city. Methinks you meant "ZAH-greb".
Miscommunication. If the co-pilot confirmed (replied to the captain) to go around because they were not prepared (ready). To be fair though, sounded like ATC was a bit rushed, but probably because they knew it was the only window for landing. Best to always hold safety as primary and divert which is common, expected, and happens often (usually to saarbrücken or liege). If they were diverted within time this would have been avoided. I'm sure there was a bit of closed-door politics behind the investigation; hot-potatoing and finger-pointing.
Bro, if you fail 4 check rides, you should have to pass 4. This thing where you can just try and try until you finally manage just one safe flight is a disaster waiting to happen.
Recent med evac California circling approach crash but in IMC, I believe. Airlines do not allow circling approach landings. Easy to fall behind fast planes especially when allowing another pilot to become too far behind and take over late. Sad to hear. Easier to call a missed approach and try again vs trying to recover a really poor unstable approach. Complacency is another problem. Mother Nature is not very forgiving with flying mistakes.
I feel bad about the loss of the aircraft. The pilots not so much.
The only thing that shocks me is that a Lear Jet doesnt have an auto throttle. As millennials age they better pray to their soygods the internet doesnt ever go out, lol. The entire earth will loook like Pompei in a thousand years. Billions of people huddled around their kitchen sinks holding their phones praying the water will flow again.
No training? The guy was a flight instructor. This aircraft doesn’t require a type certification. He fucked up and crashed.
And in 1991 Ustashas became “ freedom fighters” supported by the west.
Sounds like this pilot was an idiot.
Just another case where the in-flight pilots should have had their credentials. Stripped a long time ago..
RIP Michael J. Kling (1956-1999) Stephanie Bellegarrigue (1972-1999) Payne Stewart (1957-1999) Robert E. Fraley (1953-1999) Van Ardan (1954-1999) and Bruce Borland (1958-1999)
The captain had to many issues in the past to be allowed to fly. The captain had many opportunities to take the controls and land the jet
I looked at the thumbnail and thought they'd maybe somehow managed to manoeuvre their plane to hover there a few feet over the ground and that everything was okay. Pretty disappointed tbh.
At some point, no matter how much you want it you have to realise you suck at that thing and it’s time change your career plans
It mentions it's proximity to Philadelphia. What about it's proximity to New York City?
transpacific was a mom and pop backyard circus
what a bunch of clowns, sounds like a couple of C150 private pilots that heisted a Lear 35 just to have a little fun.
Can’t understand why they were trying to bank at such low altitude and speed. They could have just increased altitude and speed and taken time to stabilise and go for another approach!

We had a pilot in the Navy Blame Anal Warts for the reason of crashing a 50 million dollar Helicopter, some of these pilots you just got to wonder how tf did they make it thru all those schools lmfao.
Terrible robo-narration. Can't watch!
Would love to hear the actual audio of those unprofessional communications.
Here's an idea, after a pilot has passed the simulator they have to go fly in real life with a qualified instructor. Crazy, right? 😉
These two seemed barely competent - and that's being kind. What an utter c*ck-up.
Maybe they should have been taxi drivers 🤔
Coke adds life!
wtf?
With the current pilot shortage, this may not be the last….
So….. what really happened?
Well, of course, it was a Chestnut 421, I mean, that's nuts...
Just goes to show, you don't need training to crash a plane.
Confused and struggling yet the captain didn't take control.. very strange
Did capt have a death wish?
Were the pilots hands really still on the controls in the wreckage? I seriously doubt it.
It’s flight “Nineteen Forty Three”.
