I’m intrigued by both. I think that Alexi’s is the least disruptive to how the USMNT already plays but I’d pull Musah & put Gio as CAM and play Sargent or Haji as the other winger in that formation. (I’d also still start Ream for some of the matches) However, I’d like to see this team also consider Stu’s 3-5-2…

That lineup wins copa, makes WC final at a minimum, and gains entry in the next Euros, wins that handedly, then goes back to back WC champs, loses final in 2034. This will surely age well.

Adams is a dog but needs to rest, Cardoso is KILLING it in La Liga

Holden line up is exactly what I've wanted to see for a long time now, only thing I would change is switching weston and Adams so the Weston and Weah can have their Juventus connection on the right side and they can cover for each other in that right wing back position since they both know how to play there in alegri's system

I wouldn't start adams, Cardoso should start and work Adams minutes up over the course of the tournament. We really should take it carefully with Tyler.

Hybrid between the two: 4-3-3 with Turner..Robinson..Richards...CCV...Weah...Adams...McKennie...Gio...Pulisic...Sargent...Wright. Wright deserves to the be on the field given his past performances for club & country and he actually has been playing a lot of left wing for Coventry. That moves CP10 to the right side where he has thrived for Milan.

I like the new rules but like Alexis said I would have preferred them to implement toward the leading team instead of the losing one. I would have made more sense. I am losing, I can't drain the clock..

I think both Alexi and Stu are delusional if they think this US team can win anything. Is Turner better than Freidel or Howard was? Is Pulisic any better than Clint Dempsey or Landon Donovan were? Is Sargent any better than McBride or Wynalda were? Do we have anyone as good as Tab Ramos, Claudio Reyna, Cobi Jones or Marcelo Balboa? I'd say "No" to all of those.

Take out Musah slide Gio central move pulisic to the right wing bring in Haji on the left and put Flo and the 9. Oh and if Tyler isn’t 100%(and I mean a real 100%) put Johnny at the 6. Back five is fine though.

Ricardo Pepi has been the best striker for the US for a couple years now. Balogun has just not performed at the same level. Haji had one good game. Sargent, who knows how he’ll perform.

Back 3 never works, as much as I like the lineup.

Alexi is a great personality and a world class defender. But when it comes to picking a lineup, I'm going with Stu. 😁
