As a mechanic I had one crazy repair with a vehicle that only had 3,000ish miles on it. Customer states started like a misfire and now it wont run. His PCM was smoked. Customer brought in new plugs, boots, coils and asked us to change them. Didn't understand why but I did it at their request. Took the truck for a drive and it started to misfire and I rushed back. It died in the stall while idling. Turns out this truck not only smoked PCMs because of rodent damage, but when it would go it would take out coils with it. Not even sure how. Another guy in the shop got 20 hours to replace the body and powertrain harnesses after him I put a new pcm and coils in it. Solved.

How do you spend that much and only get 453 hp??? Almost 80k into that truck and that’s it? You can buy crate 383 strokers making more than that for like 8 grand! I know 453 is a lot but I would expect like 600-700hp reliably from that thing at that price point. Disappointed

I own the most fully loaded 2022 WRX with a Manual Transmission that I could buy. It does have the push button start and the big screen and suede everywhere possible. Being that I used to drive a 2007 Saturn Aura before I bought the WRX, it is quite the upgrade for me. I have soooo much fun driving it. I know it is not a super modified car like your Orange one, but I can still drive it hard and fast, and if something breaks, it is covered under warranty and I don't have to spend many hours fixing it. I get the appeal of modifying a vehicle if you have the time and expertise to work on it, but when I have work 50-60 hours per week and spend the rest of my wife and kids, a stock new WRX is a very fun vehicle to drive. Unfortunately, my wife enjoys driving the WRX too. So she plans on taking it from me once I buy my new car, which will be a 2016 Focus RS.

With how this vehicle sounds, how it looks the way you all modded the headers, and the fact it's for desert racing, we should start a petition to name this truck "Dune Demon".
