What do I do on my Camaro my left taillight stays on only that side the car is off but the light stays on looked at fuses, brake pedal, the brake switch sensor the plastic thing on the brake there all good my wiring doesn’t look bad

Hey brother. I’m in Wellington too! That’s the exact same setup I had. Check out my other videos. I took mine to DSM Lights down in Miami and loved how the car drove with his tune.

The zl1 cars looks great and look fun to drive. Looking at getting a 2015 zl1. Just need to find a list for things to look for on the Supercharger to make sure its in proper working condition.
Honestly don’t even stress it. Take it to Chevy and have them replace it like I did mine. Search through my videos for “ZL1 gets a new supercharger”.

What he fails to tell you is you have to snip the wires and hard wire them in because the aftermarket ones don’t clip into the old bulb harness
You absolutely don’t have to do that. You need to plug the led bar into the bulb socket. If you don’t know what you’re doing, I’d ask first, assume later.
@@MrLSXyou may not have the same factory female side that we do. The male side that comes with the after market lights do not go into the factory harness, hard wiring is required
@@shadeslayer9818 I mean all Camaros were built in the same factory using the same parts. You just have accidentally ordered the wrong set of lights. Wouldn’t want to hard wire it anyways. If and when it goes out, you’ll have to cut and splice in again. I suppose you could make a quick connect setup.

i replaced mine with leds and now when i put my signal on it goes all fast likes it’s bouta die or something
You have to install a custom LED resistor harness (2 on each bulb housing), or it won’t work; not unless you pay the extra money like the ones in the description, which have complete, pre-assembled internal resistors and harness all cleaned up for you. I personally don’t do wiring at all, and tried buying some 3157 LED resistor plug and play harnesses, and it worked out for everything EXCEPT for running tail lights. I was about to give up, but I’m probably just gonna either go to “better” halogens, or just spend the money on pre-assembled CANBUS error-free LED bulbs. I personally say to go for the ones in the link, they’re a super reliable brand - Synetic USA. And even if one goes out, their harness will allow you to replace it with a temporary halogen bulb like normal, and drive with the remaining ones as you order a new set. I think it’s sold for me!

Watching your excellent video did make me feel like I was in an ocean-going boat sloshing towards a rendezvous to play the whale worshiping at the porcelain alter uttering “ralph” with every ultra speedy pan. My catch can is different than yours and came with no installation instructions and so I’m tryin’ to figure what the manufacturer intended the mount to bolt to. Yours is the 3rd video I watched and the only one that made me feel like I was on the ocean instead of the blacktop. Keep the rubber side down.
@@MrLSX I understand the goal. With that amount of motion the goal of showing every little detail isn't achieved. If you're going to do these live man-on-the-street gonzo-journalism style, perhaps invest in a cheap motion stabilizer like those from DJI? It would help viewers see more detail, and keep their lunch down at the same time. A win-win!

Simply replace bulb with led light , connect it and it's that easy? I'm asking because I'm having an issue with an aftermarket tail lights from top gear auto. Set is 249.99 led but the out passenger side light got waterlogged. The light was seated correctly idk if it's a manufacturer issue but I wanted to just go the route of replacing with OEM taillights. And was told they don't make the inner side passenger anymore. Discontinued so I'm here. 🤣
Yes sir, it’s that easy. Yea the top gear sets are garbage because of the low amount of effort they put into selling the housings. The OEM housings are great and look even better with this high quality LED in them. Plus if and when they burn out, it’s only $25 for a set of two.

Man ive been hooked on a 2013 zl1 got so long now, im at the point where i could really purchase one. What would you say a good mileage/price is for one of these in manual? Also hows it been reliability wise? Im also gonna daily it (i really dont travel far for school/work but i digress) and one final question, are the black rims lighter than the silver/chrome rims?
Alot of variables. I wouldn’t finance a car anymore, so really the sweet spot is $35K with about 40-60k miles. They are extremely reliable, like most LS motors. The cooling system is impressive. Yes the black wheels are the “track pack” wheels. They are based off the others just have more material cut out.
@@MrLSX i test drove an auto zl1 today. Im officially gonna scour every corner to find a manual one for less than 40k amd less than 60k miles. I cant get the noise of it out of my head, absolutely exhilarating

@@MrLSXi bet, hey so i recently heard about the recall for the pring loaded isolator on the supercharger being...well shit and essentially destroying itself. do you know if there is any way to tell if the isolator has been fixed under the recall?
@@thecheezburger891 yes. Look through my videos for the one where I get a new supercharger. My dealership ended up doing the work but I put a Metco isolator in there.

That’s possibly a completely different setup for a dry sump system. As far as anything without a dry sump, intake manifold and valley cover are easiest ways to plug into.
Gauge location on console is 100% intended as homage to 1st Gen. They were equally unusable then.
