Story Time: ZL1 gets new LSA blower! | GM Recall

Hey guys! Just wanted to have a little story time with you all and explain how my blower replacement experience went. Huge shout out to Curtis at Autonation Chevrolet for taking care of me through this process!

Did they put the same isolator or a different one?

They put the newly updated GM isolator without the spring.

09-13 only I have a 2014 they told me to get lost

I heard there was a company that bought all the recalled blowers and sold them refurbished and possibly with warranty. Any ideas of where ?

Just picked up my 13ZL1 two days after Thanksgiving. I was wondering about the blower recall, for GM to change it has to show some form of a defect correct? Should I get it checked even if I don't hear anything?

If you don't hear anything no. But the moment you do, know that it's covered.
