Polishing the CCWs! | Mr. LSX DIY

Basically, CCWs didn't look like CCWs.
So I brought them back to life.

Nice vid! I have the 505s on my Quicksilver C5Z. I love them but they suck taking care of. Can't imagine on a DD. Mine are looking good on the outside. I used Busch's Aluminum polish just because that's what CCW recommended when I called them. I just used groits wheel cleaner w a mothers wheel brush then polished with the Meguiers wheel polisher in tight places then use a DA polisher (Flex 18V) w a white 4" pad for larger area.
I'm pulling the wheels off this spring and am going to give your method along w The Chemical Guys products a shot. The barrels on mine look like a polished wheel that hasn't been touched in 10 yrs. I'm sure this will be fun lol

It’s a lot of work but worth it in the end. Gives the wheels a second wind.
