when I was 8, a school friend asked if I would like to see Gold finger. I probably would have enjoyed the movie, but I think much of it would have been over my head. My mother did NOT think it was age appropriate. In the end, even a third grader understands a dry martini, shaken, not stirred.

When EON rebooted the film series some years ago I really wanted this film to be remade as the second Danual Craig film, as it was the second book in the series. As well as making the storyline more faithful to the book it would have been interesting to update the whole Voodoo stuff to have Mr Big manipulate young people into extreme acts of violence via rap music, as it was something of a concern at the time (mid to late 2000s)

The best James Bond movie bar none, because it is the only film in the entire series to be a proper adaptation of the book. If this was the last Bond movie I'd have had no complaints as it would have rounded off the film series perfectly

Very unfortunate believe that George left me would have been a great bond for 2 or 3 movies more. At least he couldn't done anything worse than Timothy.
