This song has such a cool vibe.
it really does have a bohemian flavour
Crazy thing is, almost everything about TND pretty much still works just fine 20 years later. It made an excellent capstone to the 1990's and defined a lot of it.
Not much has really changed in the last 20 years, technology and fashion wise.
I still remember seeing this in the theatre and they had the sound CRANKED. It was so cool!
THIS song made me pay attention to Bond films and music. Sure, I knew about them, but they had never struck me. And I don’t even listen to Sheryl Crow or other pop music. The combination here of a harrowing vocal performance, jazzy guitar, and powerful light instrument backing all in the melancholy key….perfection.
Yea ikr! Sheryl Crow has amazing artistic depth.
She did a song for the movie Cars which I also found to be pretty amazing. Just a different vibe.
One of my favorite Bond themes. My favorite of the Brosnan Bond's.
J
Very underrated bond theme. Always in my top three.
The number one is licence to kill number 2 golden eye
Never knew her range as a singer until this one came out. Definitely one of the top movie themes, but there are probably only a handful that aren’t good, particularly the recent ones.
This is a really rememberable film haven’t watched Tomorrow never dies yet. I am on Diamonds are forever.
Not my favorite theme but certainly one of the best of the last 30 years.
Never knew Sheryl Crowe’s level of talent and range until this song. This movie had one of my favorite opening sequences and the song absolutely captured the energy from that but transitioned well to set the tone for the rest of the movie, which was slightly more subdued and internalized than Goldeneye.
Can we just recognize how sad this song actually is? If you listen to the lyrics, it's basically the story of most Bond girls, that begs him to stop it and just stay together, but then have to come to terms with the fact that they will never be the most important thing in Bond's life.
Damn
Apart from Tracy but she got lucky, tbh unlucky because look what happened to her
Yes indeed have just posted à comment in English, not my native language. A thème I ve heard unrelently for years😮, stunned and moved. 💜
That's what you get when you simp for Chad
YOU’RE RIGHT HOLY SHIT
90s Bond themes were soooo good probably the most underrated as far as the decades go
last movie i saw with my Father. RIP dady... :(
Until that day
Until the world falls away
Until you say there'll be no more goodbyes...
Sorry for your loss.
her voice can melt gold
Did you expect her to talk?!
This opening sequence was one of the first to look modern as well as sound that way. Has much more high tech visuals than previous ones. This is a pretty good song that really sounds 90's, yet manages to recall the romantic, old fashioned notes of the John Barry songs.
The themes got better one after another. The villain concepts got more interesting after in living daylights. The bonds throughout the years become more legendary. This is why I will always love 007 movies
*This* *song* *never* *gets* *old* *I* *love* *it* *so* *much* *.*
Without a doubt, this is my favourite Bond title theme ever
I love Tomorrow Never Dies. I think it's quite an underrated film and its reputation suffers from having to follow the excellent Goldeneye.
It really is underrated. It came out in theatres when I was a kid and I still have a vintage VHS copy of it. For me, it's my favorite Brosnan Bond movie hands down. Outside of Spectre and Goldfinger, it's my favorite Bond movie.
Brosnan, to me, is the real bond. Connery was great, probably the best, but Brosnan had that natural debonair and Northern/Uptown English Accent that really sold the role.
One of the best James Bond song ever
Always found watching the opening sequences with my parents as as kid akward AF
Know what you mean mate lol
LOL same 😂😂 so glad to hear it wasn’t just me ahaha
same experience here...sitting just next to my dad... :D
You should see "The Spy Who Love Me"opening scene that I watched with my parents as a kid. You can see every nook and cranny! lol
Oddly enough in my family it was ok for me to see bond butchering the baddies and people being shoved into industrial shredders and whatnot in 007 films but the bedchamber scenes were a no-no. `\(••)/`
Remember watching this as a kid, it was always my favourite
I have to say, this is my favorite James Bond opening track purely base on nostalgia. It introduce me to james bond as a kid when I play the ps1 game
By far my favorite bond theme :)
The best James Bond movie song of all time, she should have sang in everyone of the themes!!! What a sultry voice, I get chills when I hear her sing!!!
WHAT A THRILL~~
WITH DARKNESS AND SILEN--
... Wait.
That's another song, isn't it?
CRAB BATTLE !
SNAAAAAAAAAAAKE EAAAAAATEEEEEEEEEEEEEER
What a thrill...
Hahahahaha amazing
This was the first Bond movie I saw. 90's Baby
Yadda Yadda this movie came out, the year I was born
Same this is as far back of bond movie I can think of
Me too ✋...90s baby. My first james bond movie❤ following TWINE. Born in 1994
In spite of my love to Adele's "Skyfall" this is the best Bond's theme song in my opinion.
You mean the absolute worst...
The first verse is absolutely perfect.
I have to say this is my number 2 bond song first being Chris Cornell casino Royale. I find nothing wrong with the voice it does have more of a powerful nasal sound to it but that is the uniqueness of some singers. never understood why many dislike the style. this was well written and sung in good tone.
+Queen Maricat great minds think alike you have a great summer and great year and remember.
tomorrow never dies :)
+Queen Maricat this same xd casino royale and this song
Her voice fits the style of the song. Sultry and slightly sleazy.
Bartek Romanowicz it's ok, I would have to say Skyfall, Spectre, and Live and let die are my favorites
Your opinion.
I remember playing the PlayStation game and when I completed the opening objective, it ends with this cut scene and I thought it was so cool
Aaah, memories
My favourite James Bond theme for so many reasons, complexity of the musical 🎶 framework, her strong American accent...the dramatic lyrics... BTW 3 themes by Dame Shirley Bassey mezzo Soprano 83 in 2023 and still singing brilliantly . Greetings from France ❤
First Bond I actually saw in theaters. Was worth it for the BMW sequence alone.
the beginning is awesome!!!!!
I completely agree!
Yeah to bad the rest of the song sucks
This was really the first James Bond that started to take off and give Bond a more futuristic look
That would have been Goldeneye.
@@matthewcorcoran2891 No, that one was still classic bond. had cold war styling all over it, and yes while it had some computers, it wasn't like this movie.
Yeah I know what you mean. Goldeneye had a very retro James Bond feel to it. Also Tina Turner’s theme song didn’t really sound all the modern at all. It was very techno, like as if it came out of the 80’s…..
That's not necessarily a good thing
This is my favorite of all the Bond songs. Maybe because I listened to Sheryl Crow long before I'd heard this song. But few songs feel as fun.
Nah it's definitely the best Bond song. It's sexy, and is a great song on its own. Skyfall was cool too, but this song is special, and encapsulated the 90s spectacularly.
@@nighthawkviper6791 Yeah, I also think Live and Let Die and You Only Live Twice are pretty solid for their time, and Tom Jones gets a honorable mention for knocking himself out at the end of Thunderball (he was 25 years old when he recorded it, too!) If they'd kept Radiohead's Specter tho, that'd be the best one imo.
martinis, girls and guns
Martinis,Pierce and guns
u forgot the main bond component : "they've killed him, but he escaped anyways" XD
keep it simple, just say booze, boobs, and guns
And cars.
The ideal life for a man.
For some reason this song caused me to think of Jessica Rabbit.
Lol
Same here! :D
Never thought of it, but yes. Yes it does.
Boy that's so true - imagine Amy Irving singing these lyrics...no offence to Cheryl Crow, but that would have been so much better.
Michelle Phffyfer on a piano ffor me
Just watched this movie in full (for the first time in a long time, not just bits and pieces), completely forgot about this title sequence. Great visuals and effects and I think it's a representation or showing of a new era the series is entering in. A technology and software age, something that can be deadlier than say a 00 agent with a gun. Very good film and title sequence.
Sheryl Crow is such a GOAT.
She did a song for the cartoon movie Cars and that was great too!!
She's such a all around amazing musician. ❤
This movie had the best bond girl as a character imo....she actually did shit
but the story was so stupid. brosnan's films after goldeneye had so many stupid plots.
Eva green was the best to me
@@InTecknicolour a bit stupid, but I thought it was creative - and I really enjoyed Bill Gates as an evil mastermind. :D
The Living Daylights and License to Kill share that honour. In the latter, the girl actually saves Bond at a very critical moment too, AND sends a villain to an entirely justified death of the cruel kind.
@@HenningKnopp no that was the hacker henchman, the main villain was Evil Rupert Murdock
The movie is so underrated
Sheryl Crow is killer.
Is that who it is like lol
Cant remember the old crow
I love hearing this song, especially the beginning.
Best James bond song ever
I'll say it again Brosnan era definitely had the best themes. Hands down. I can appreciate the classics but damnnnnn this era SLAPSSSSSS
If you don't count the Madonna one haha
@@wanxye real talk 😂😂
@@wanxye the song is fine
One of the best ones...007 all day
I’ve got a 1999 bmw and I played this while driving to feel posh back then the good days
This theme
Skyfall
Goldeneye
Casino Royale
Spectre
Goldfinger
I think had the best themes and as much as me not being a Billie Eilish fan her "No Time To Die" theme just gives me chills
One of my top 5 favorite theme of James Bond next Gladys knight license to kill theme
Favourite theme ever
Darling I'm Killed
I'm in a puddle on the floor
Waiting for you to return
Oh what a thrill
Fascinations galore
How you tease, how you leave me to burn
It's so deadly my dear
The power of having you near
Until the day...
Until the world falls away
Until you say there'll be no more good-byes
See it in your eyes
Tomorrow Never Dies
Darling you won
It's no fun
Martini's girls and guns
It's murder on our love affair
It's you, that's your life
Every night, as you chase the morning light
You're not the only spy out there
It's so deadly my dear
The power of wanting your near
Until the day...
Until the world falls away
Until you say there'll be no more good-byes
See it in your eyes
Tomorrow Never Dies
[repeat]
Until the day...
Until the world falls away
Until you say there'll be no more good-byes
See it in your eyes
Tomorrow Never Dies
Thank you for upload the lyrics. I'll sing, that theme for long time.
So basically she is condescending James Bond by saying you’re useless womaniser and there are other spies who can do your job better than you. Nice.
CONGRATULATIONS to Michelle Yeoh for winning the Best Actress at the Oscars(Academy Awards) this past Sunday!!!!!! 🥳🎉👏🥳🎉👏🥳🎉👏🥳🎉👏🥳🎉👏 You Go Girl!!!!!
my favourite bond song
The best james bond song for the right singer
Probably my favourite Bond film, not sure why because it's certainly not the best Bond film, just a personal favourite.
Thanks for the good post!
The Bond movie I watched most just cuz I had it linked to a certain food. So everytime when my mom made that food I had to watch it. Which I did until I became vegetarian and couldn't eat the dish anymore. But still this movie means a lot to me and it has a fucking amazing song..
That beginning will never not be awesome to me. 🫶
"The World is Not Enough SHERYL."
St. HMAJW.
SHUT-UP! ! ! !
"THE FOOTY'S ON THE RADIO! ! !
- SkyKnight Drongo.
Best bond theme easy
Are you high on something or what? Listenbto the outeo song Surrender by k d land, this was so much better and should have been used for tge opening theme
Sorry, guys. This is the best James Bond soundtrack ever, period. You can all go now.
Jonathan Pryce steals the fucking show at all times in this film. This movie is awesome just for him!
Amazing Lounge Music
So good.
Love that GHOST IN THE SHELL REFFERENCE .....
Amazing
love this tune....
My favorite song of James Bond. :D
I remember watching this theme music video on my old PlayStation 😂😂 I thought that was the most coolest shit😂
sooooo good
another good one
The best Tina !!❤🎉
there are hits, and there are misses
it sounds so much better than her separate video
Super song
great Bond song! one of the best (if not the best)
The last great Bond film. After 1997 the franchise took a permanent nosedive.
The best James Bond theme song not on this list Gladys Knight License to kill
Fuck yeah, licence to kill is the best.
Fantastic theme song
sick movie I watched in theater whne I was a teenager
This is a good 007 theme but KD Lang's Surrender is my favorite theme of this 007 movie
literally the best
I love this song
if KD Lang-Surrender was the original theme for this it would have been badass
Nah find the live version by Crow and you will be amazed as I was since I don't care much of Crow or Lang . Lang version is good .
Bond James Bond
Someone should do a where are they now, for Bond Girls in opening movie sequences. :D
"who's strangling the cat?"
Best bond theme of them all imo.
I hated this song as a kid, I thought it was quite weak for a bond song, but it's now earned a high place for me.
super
The K. D. Lang closing credits was SO much better
Agree agree agree!
Fave bond song.
Well cheers guys for me tomorrow never dies hope the same to you all.
Sad that Swan Lee didnt make the cut. I love this song, but the Swan Lee version was so much more a bond theme
2:41 had a crush 17 years ago.. still have the fricking crush... goddanm it... and still up to now.. I have no idea who she is.. :(
エリックエリック Diamond girl?
@@ernststavroblofeld2109 yes, the girl with diamond necklace

Not my favorite bond entry but goddamn is this theme a banger
Tomorrow nver dies, but...yestarday is already dead!
I am furthest thing from a Cheryl Crow fan but she has a really good bond theme
Sheryl Crow is a song-writing titan. Good as any man. And although she pulls this off, her voice cannot compete with the power-voice of Shirley Bassey, or with the silky softness of Sheena Easton. Who why use Sheryl's voice, when a real power-voice was actually needed here?
Good as any man?! How generous of you.
@@AboutThings_byTarif well, just that most of the great songwriters were men. At least 95 percent.
@@MontoyaMatrix , just say you are sorry and you didn't mean to offend anyone with that horrible line.
@@taciguedes Look at Rolling Stones lists of greatest-songs-of-the-year. Most all written by men. 95% was harsh, so I do apoligize for that. But at least, 80% of the greatest songs where written by men. Sheryl Crow can compete with that group. She's a genius.
Goodbye practical effects 😞💔
I'm always surprised people rate this theme so low. For my money the Brosnan era had (Die Another Day aside) some of the best themes.
Was released on the day I was born..
I was born in 93 so I was almost 2 when goldeneye came out then I was 4 when tomarrow never dies and then 6 when world is not enough and lastly 9 when die another day came out. I'm 27 now
this is the one Bond movie i can never really get into start to finish every time i watch ...great opening though
+Richard Parker You should. It's easily one of if not the best of Brosnan's Bond Adventures.
yeah i think i will eventually give it another full chance
+Richard Parker To me it's the only watchable Brosnan Bond films, as the story was good, and he actually looked comfortable in the role versus Goldeneye this time around. He already looked bored playing the part in The World is Not Enough and really had no business making Die Another Day (such a horrid film on so many levels IMO). Craig was definitely the shot in the arm the franchise needed after the misstep of Die Another Day.
