I like the movie and song
Whilst this is easily the worst of the Bond themes, the way the visuals of Bond's torture and the theme itself is pretty impressive.

You know, despite how bad this auto-tuned nightmare is... It's still somehow distinctive enough that I can recall bits of it when I think about it. By contrast, with a gun to my head, I can't recall a single line or any part of the melody from Michael Stipe's Opening Theme for movie "Quantum of Solace". It really makes me think that being 'memorable' (in spite of quality) is preferable to just being 'good' (yet ultimately unremarkable)...
The auto tune was part of the effect. There were a lot of auto tune songs around this time that over used it on purpose
Most people can't even remember that there was a Quantum of Solace movie, let alone the song. It was a pretty good movie but somehow not memorable.

One would be hard pressed to find a bigger Madonna fan in all the world, who also loves and looks forward to the theme songs as much as i anticipate the films, yet I am not a fan of this theme song at all. And I don’t think it’s the fault of Madonna. She delivered on the assignment of giving us a “21st Century electronically auto tuned song that is obtuse i it’s angularity , but it just doesn’t thrill. I wanted to love her bond theme, alas this song was Dead on Arrival ….

I know it takes some getting used to, but just like I wanted to see what Adele would do with the theme, I was surprised. The artist departed from the usual stereotype and ventured in another direction.
Plus, it's great listening when I play Bourn Bond and Beyond with my boyfriend

This is the absolute worst in terms of bond songs. This is so embarassing. I understand being "modern" with the music but that doesn't give you an excuse to suck.

This song is bad, but it is atleast remarkable. There are other bond themes that are so unremarkable that I fall asleep to them.
I think the worst bond theme is "never say never" although it is an alternative bond theme.
I am also really not a fan of the love songs era; The spy who loved me, Moonraker, For your eyes only & Octopussy. The best of them is probably "for your eyes only" but God they are all boring, much more boring than die another day.

The weird thing about this song is that if it were sung conventionally, it would be pretty damn catchy, but the over synthesized auto-tune aspect brings it down to near unlistenable. The sequence scenes are absolutely solid. Film was meh.

Not gonna lie as a Brosnan fan I used to like this opening but listening to it now I gotta admit, it's complete trash.
The pre-title sequence of Die Another Day, with Bond being captured, vulnerable and helpless, is compelling. What a shame that the rest of the film is terrible, along with the theme song.
The first bad one, which is a disappoint as Madonna did some great music around this time. This is more what a remix of the song should be, not the theme.
On a playlist and bro this song is a great prelude to the quality of the film. Easily the worse Bronson Bond film imo. Worse than Daniel Craig's QoS
