Hi Gerald, awesome video, this was the best episode so far, I agree that this was a good lightsabre fight but not the best, I agree there is a bigger Sith behind quimir, as he is a sith, it was a shame most of the Jedi died but I am glad the twins survived, and I am looking forward to the next episode, thank you Star Wars Fanatic

I knew a lot of those Jedi were basically going to be “Red Shirted” - what I didn’t expect was two of the main ones were gonna get smoked. Got some real GOT and Walking Dead vibes in that. And I liked it, ALOT!

Yeah, these last two episodes were good, especially after the kind of useless flashback that was episode 3. Episode 4 may have been a bit slow, but I appreciated the build up and feel as though its only critique is the fact that it ended with such intense anticipation for the action that was episode 5. Which was excellent! I agree with you that this "stranger" from the 'Good Place' is just the apprentice to a greater master, and that the master is Osha and Mae's mother. As such, the introduction of - shall we call him Jason (I know, ironic) 😉 - just introduces more questions surrounding Sol's past and the reasons as to why the Jedi are not viewed in a positive light by certain individuals. I'm really enjoying that aspect of this show! Also, he's clearly not a 'Sith' as defined by what Ki Adi Mundi knows. Similar to both Kylo Ren and Snoke, he does not have the yellow eyes that make one a a true Sith. So naysayers are pissing up the wrong tree. Ki Adi Mundi is still right in Phantom Menace, even if he hears about 'Jason.' Just because someone calls themselves a Sith, doesn't mean they are a Sith.

People seem to have missed something. Qimir said Jedi would call him a Sith. Not that he was a Sith. To me this really needs to be explored as to what it implies.

I get that lovers of the franchise want to give it a second chance, then a third, and a fourth. But that's known as a dysfunctional relationship. I say, walk away. The Russian word "razbliuto" means "the feeling that you have for someone that you used to love but love no longer". I recommend embracing the razbliuto. Like the truth, first it hurts but then it sets you free.

Maybe Disney is doing the same. All three of these theories can be true at the same time, and indeed can synergize. Disney targets a competing IP: they buy it, then deliberately ruin it by inept writing from useful idiots, by performative diversity hiring, and by skimping on costuming and special effects. The money not spent is kicked back to the execs and their friends-of-friends. The shows fail, the IP is ruined, and the cost to Disney is an investment in monopoly maintenance. Then they write off the loss to evade taxes. I admit that these theories are purely speculative. The only evidence I have for them is what we see on the screen. It’s possible that instead of Disney being that crooked, Disney is that incompetent. I recommend that the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice act to break up Disney for monopolistic business practices. The DoJ should also investigate money laundering and tax fraud.

At least we’re really getting a glimpse on just how deadly the Sith truly is and that the Jedi need to understand what is at stake.

We haven’t yet seen the light saber whip, so there could be more cools stuff.

That episode had some real red wedding vibes. It hurt to watch because of that but it was really good too.

You know...the story that is unfolding in the Acolyte is the story of the downfall of the Jedi. We are getting the backstory of the Jedi's arrogance. Qimir is right...the Jedi decided what the rules of force usage would be, and then became the enforcers of their own rules. There were many jedi who had pure and noble hearts and good intentions...but there was a time when the Jedi as peacemakers became the very political Jedi soldiers. We are seeing that transition happen. The way to defeat the Jedi without using a weapon is to push the Jedi to do the very "not Jedi" things...as we saw Sol do when he attacked Qimir while his back was turned. This is the beginning of understanding how to manipulate the Jedi without them even knowing what is happening. By the time Palpatine came to power, that technique had been perfected. And you are VERY right...Mae was being groomed to be a assassin acolyte...not an apprentice. Qimir is the apprentice...and clearly, although his powers are great, he is NOT a Sith. His eyes aren't the yellow/red color that we see with Sith. He did not say he was a Sith...he said something like...the Jedi would call me a Sith, which is very different than saying "I am a Sith". Kylo Ren did not have the yellow/red eyes either, and he was not a Sith. Snoke wasn't a Sith either. They were two very powerful dark side users of the force, but not Sith. An exception...Count Dooku, although called a Sith Lord in Cannon, did not have the yellow/red eyes either. The Yellow/Red eyes are a trait of Sith who have fully immersed themselves in the dark side. Dooku's eyes did not turn yellow because he didn't commit himself to the dark side's rage and anger. Instead, he used the dark side as a tool to achieve his goals of reorganizing the galaxy and changing the corrupt republic, rather than as a way of life. Dooku's calm demeanor and measured lightsaber style also helped him avoid physical deformities and yellow eyes. If Qimir is a Sith, he isn't fully engulfed in the rage and anger yet. Sorry for the long novel of a comment. It was a great video :)

I was pleasantly surprised by this episode. The series didn't start out very strong. But this villain is awesome.

This episode really did go hard! I was not expecting that many deaths in a single episode. And the fighting was nonstop intense. Like it kept you glued to the TV.

Thought that was one of the best lightsaber fights I've seen in a long time. Enjoyed the episode and really want to see what Sol and the Jedi actually did. I really like the Sith guy he did a great job.

I’m still hoping that David Harwoods “minor” role (In terms of screen time) will be Plagueis or Tenebrous at the end as the true master behind everything, his voice would be perfect and has played Martian manhunter another role that uses heavy prosthetics

Noone cares show is trash

There’s probably not a redeeming scenario that will convince me that this show is either good or actually matters in the grand scheme of things. I try not to take star wars lore too seriously, but Disney has been dropping the ball during too many ‘big games’ and frankly, its sad…

for me as a lifelong fan i've been through so many emotions. i watched the prequels as a teen and felt a lot of the aliens were racist caricatures, i also felt anakin(young and old) had horrible writing for their dialog. now i didn't cry about it on forums but my sentiment was what contributed to jake lloyd, hayden christensen, and ahmed best having a horrible experience and leaving acting. this also led to george selling star wars (instead of just getting writing help for dialog). i definitely don't like the sequels but its because the director seemed to be trashing each other's vision and retconning most of each other's ideas. i also wish they didn't waste phasma, finn, kylo for the most part, luke, and poe dameron but if all you can see is the negative in something walk away, and enjoy what you love about the i.p..

There has to be way more here than meets the eye, or many eyes. Remembering Headland's Russia Doll wasn't all it appeared to be from the get go. Mea also burned the book that Osha drew the Jedi crest in that contributed something to the fire. Everything is a misdirect, though I do believe that the witches cast a spell upon Torbin. The Jedi are likely up to something more than we've seen thus, the witches probably set Torbin against them. We may already have our Sith like character after the children at this point, hoping to learn the witches secret to creating life. Perhaps he kidnaps Koril in the process or she is his apprentice at this early stage.

the absolute best duel of star wars no questions asked. after the prequel duels, this is such a refreshing, rich scene. people who say it's lame because it's over in 3 seconds are missing the point entirely.
