I hear you. Etsy removed a laser engraved wooden keychain I made for my lady. I put her service animals picture and the keychain said service animal. Etsy said I did an illegal act. So I said fine I closed my account. I will not be accused of being a criminal. So Etsy take your business and bleep bleep it.

The wasted hours I spent sat on a lava-temperature vinyl covered seat, in the back of a non air-conditioned old car arguing with my siblings - what some now call the "good old days". But I suppose it helped 'build character'... 😂

Fyi TCM rate Nettle as a 'cold' food/herb. I interpert as 'yin'. Possibly challenging for a weak consitution, reguardless their value for most. I do not know abt seeds. 5 yrs ago I did inquire w a author of a stone age cook book re possible four use she had no reference. BTW You might be able to 'willow' with wind/air to clean. Wilts UK

Scotland passed the Visitor Levy Bill at the end of May which was confirmed as an Act on July 5, 2024, and is designed to allow a visitor levy to be charged on overnight stays in some types of accommodation. There is talk people in campervan and motorhomes could be charged £20 a day in certain locations, it’s down to each local authority as to how they interpret and enforce this new bill. A lot of places now seem to be not wanting tourists and seem to be bringing in speed restrictions, parking fines charges and other things to discourage people

Years ago I checked out Etsy as a seller and decided to set up my own shop. It really isn't that hard. Find a hosting, lot around some very cheap. Make sure they have automatic/one click installation of a shop, I use wordpress with woocommerce, free software. There is a lot of free plugins as well for it.

I use Etsy as an inexpensive marketing tool, definitely not as a selling platform. People discover our business on Etsy, maybe order a sample or discount item there but for our "real" products, they know they can purchase direct through our Shopify store. Could be breaking the Etsy rules somehow, but now that they have gotten so big, selling basically anything, we get ignored by them which is good :)

You are smart not to start on Etsy, thank you for the video. You know what is the worst part? We, the honest sellers that created outstanding product and services, we whom were driving all the traffic to Etsy, we get punished by suspensions by some strange AI bot calculations, no warnings, no way how to defend ourselves. We built Etsy (we really did) and then we got kicked in the b0m, suspended for no reason and no one to call or message for support. I wish we could let our customers know, I wish there would be a way how to boycott this disgusting platform. I would never ever dared to treat my customers the way Etsy treated me as a seller of over 5 years of selling on their platform (star seller, handmade, no cheating, full income - it is not small sum in US etc.). In my niche (wig making), it is all just cheap China listings without even bothering to make their own listing pictures and they do not get banned. Just disgusting.

I used to have an allotment that had a patch of nettles i could not get rid of. Eventually I got used to being stung on my elbows pulling them. I discovered lots of stings felt like a deep heat and it took away my pain of Tennis Elbow.

I have been on etsy now for almost two years. We hand make everything and just the other day without warning I was shut dowm. I was doing p;reety good but now I have to figure out another selling platform. I do have an ebay account which does well but I like having two. So my question is this video was done 11 months ago what is new since then.

I've been Etsy's customer for just over 10 years now, and will occasionally get a sale, it's kinda nice to have a sale now and then. Sometimes I make a purchase on Etsy, but very often. I am one of those real people behind the item, but you'll never know who I am. Good luck with your artisanship, I wish you well.

I use the leaves, to infuse (cold oil) and make a balm, dried to make nettle tea, fresh in soups and stews, stalks in stews, and the residue on the compost heap (ie the brewed leaves, mottled unused leaves etc). I use the balms for aches, pains, stings, muscles strains etc along with a lot of other home made balms. ❤Nature has provided all this and for some reason only some of us we are only just getting back to it. It’s a free resource, but people prefer to pay for synthetic pharmaceuticals.😢

I made my first sale and I got an email, a temp payment acc reserve. 30%. I have to show Etsy a tracking number that Etsy can verify. Etsy gave me that tracking number. The lady got it. no complaint. reserve will be lifted in 90 days as long as there are no holds on your account. they will send me an email when that happens. I MAYBE can get my funds out of reserve sooner than 45 days by adding valid tracking info to my orders. idk what that is. Etsy gave me the tracking number. or maybe it's the post office. idk what to do. that's bull crap holding my money for 90 days. how can I avoid reserves in the future. add tracking info to your orders. ship on time. next day. avoid marking items as shipped too early. respond to buyers msgs as soon as you can. I emailed my customer told her I shipped it today. the usps was slow so I let my customer know that I've been watching the tracking. I called the usps. they confirmed it hadn't left the city yet. slow. I haven't gotten one penny. idk what to do. anybody know??? they owe me 135.00. 90 day wait??? no. it was a gold pendant
