Thank you for that. Being an ex craft fair attendant it brought back same memories, good and bad days of going home without taking a penny and days of going home having taken quite a few pennies. But it was always the people that made it worth while. Crafters are lovely people. 😁
I agree, it is a fun (if tiring!) day out! But if you’re relying on the income to pay your bills, I can’t imagine how stressful that could be 🥴

I really miss the West Country summer agricultural shows - as I used to attend loads every summer helping my uncle (farmer) who always did well with prizes.
Always a fab atmosphere of fun, interest and lovely animals. Thanks for reminding me of what I have been missing...

This is such a beautiful piece! Thanks for making this video and sharing it with us! I am getting ready for my first craft fair next week and am very excited but nervous about setting up, selling, the whole bit. Seeing this gives me renewed confidence that it’s really going to be ok. I love that you shared the dogs as part of the story, too. Btw, I fell in love with the little black cat following you around while foraging for nettle (the nettle video from 3 years ago). Yes! That’s SassyCat 😍 She’s an old lady now, about 16 (she’s a rescue) mostly deaf, lost her tail in 2020 and is the love of my life 🥰 Her nose has been put a little out of joint this year since we got a dog, but they are beginning to come around to each other 🤞 Good luck with your first show, I hope it goes well and you sell lots xx
