Those villages look so cute. I am travelling back every month to the uk but sadly not down there 😢 maybe one day I might make it.... loved seeing the shops and what is in them. Good call on the craft fairs, might be quite lucrative! X

I'm on my 1st Camping trip of the year as I type this.
Watching the waves break on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
It's a chain of largely undeveloped barrier islands sticking out into the Atlantic.
Only about 3,000 or so miles East/Northeast to your "next of the woods".
Wow, you painted a beautiful picture there Nolan, so much so that I had to and see North Carolina was (please excuse my ignorance!) in Google maps. So are you camping on that teeny strip of island way out in the ocean, with the crazy road linking them?? It look nuts, and now I really want to go there!!! 🤣
And I would very much like to visit the UK someday.
My DNA comes from Ireland & Germany.
North Carolina is a nice place to live and would also be a nice place to visit.
I live in the North Central part of NC, out on the country, just west of the State Capital, Raleigh.
A little over 200 miles to the east is the Atlantic Ocean.
And about the same distance, to the West (towards Tennessee) are the highest mountains east of the Rockies at almost 7,000 feet.
Loved that! Beautiful stuff, how do you resist? Now, be honest, did you buy Sunny a bandana? 🤔
