Loved the hair thingy. I think if you stamped a boarder or a pattern on it, it would be fab. I have seen some one some where with these metal stamps that they just bang with a hammer and it makes a design on the leather.

🤣🤣🤣 Oh god, is it still really bad?? I do have a lapel mic (a wired one) but hate using it 😖 Scale of 1-10, how bad is the sound?
@@hedgecomber it’s not bad bad, just the levels a little bit up and down.
OK thanks David, I’ll look in to it again. I wouldn’t be averse to getting a wireless mic that recorded straight into the iPhone, but previously when I looked they all fed into a separate unit which I’d then have to line up in editing (and I know that it would just end up in my mic drawer with all the others 🤭)
Hello Jane! I am a new subscriber from Michigan, USA. I just found your channel yesterday and have enjoyed a couple of your older videos. I was happy to see your latest one this morning! I remember having a similar oval shaped leather and stick hair holder in the 1970's. I have thick, curly hair and now use the dreaded plastic claw clips daily. Thanks for the throwback idea of a more natural alternative. I'll continue to follow and look forward to getting to know you better! Take care!

A little trick we learned with the pre made boxes is to always fold the fold lines backwards just to loosen and prevent the breaking x
Thanks 2K, do you mean fold them against the way they need to go, and then bend them the right way?
Yes sweetie apparently if you fold first it will prevent the breaking xx
Like the new product, and your lovely workshop. I love how you are inventing things to sell. I’ve been distracting myself lately getting to grips with this laser cutter / engraver. I spruced up my boring black Apple Watch silicone straps earlier. Sadly made a user error so it went off to one side of the strap, but I know exactly what I did to cause that so can fix it for next time. Good to see you Janey xx

Loving the hair clip but... I have really thin hair so it might be too big. Why not use your new product of the month as your giveaway?? Going to look forward to my Friday evenings now.... also, what about a leather band with elastic as a book mark...leather strap on front of book, elastic inside book. Maybe a bead like on the notebooks??

I was thinking about your leather journals-possible think about stamping the customers name on them,just a though !!!!! I see your using Italian leather,could you not use uk leather,might be slightly cheaper overall ??? Hows jonny getting on with the van or is he to busy working on the farm ? 🏴❤
Well, there might be a laser engraving option on the horizon Stu, watch this space 🤞🤩 UK leather, at least the quality veg tan stuff I use is incredibly hard to come by as most of our traditional tanneries closed down. There’s still one in Devon, but their Patrice’s are much higher than what I’m currently paying for imported Italian unfortunately.
And as for the van, it’s come to a bit of a halt as we try and work out what our future is going to look like 🤷♂️
