Thanks for this specific shot help. I may shoot with a Sony A73 at 120 FPS on HD. Would that be too slow for this shot? Also I would have thought that the shallower the depth of field the better. So I'm surprised you shot at 3.4, whilst with my Zeiss 55mm I want to shoot at 1.8.

I've been using HLG on my A7iii Sony camera. Recently I bought a DJI Mini 4 Pro and one of the reasons of the choice, was the HLG in it.

Similar to flying a real aircraft, during an emergency a typical first step in a procedure where you're lost: take you hands off the controls until orientation is established. Just let the thing fly.

Can you pause / resume record by pushing the main record button or can it only be done by pushing pause / resume record on the screen?

A "louder" mic (ie. more output) is, as you mention, can be, and usually is a better thing. If the mic is hotter, it will require less preamp gain, which will result in better SNR, unless the mic has a higher relative noise floor. GREAT COMPARISON and excellent job testing for RF interference. I think I'm gunna have to ditch my ME2's.

I have the original RODE Wireless Go and have suffered with interference with different Lavalier microphones. The solution was a shielded extension cable for the 3.5 mm jack. Bring the microphone wire down one side of your body, use the shielded extension cable and have the transmitter on the other side of your body. This seems to create enough, separation to keep the microphone lead from acting as an antenna.

I come here after a google search because I was watching the movie and I asked myself how the heck in 1980 they could do that without having drones.

Try taking those goggles off. The graphis will be extreme high resolution in 3D with zero lag. Eye tracking and extreme wide FOV. My point is....why look at the world through a potato camera while you're standing right in it?

Be careful too. I had my Avada to sliced the shit out of my leg open from getting too close and creating a vacuum. Not fun.

6:17 A super new drone pilot here... there a certain setting to use for a shot similar to this, a sort of a "half circle" close-up, slow tracking shot? Need to film a car that's up against a wall, so can't go all the way around for a full circle, just filming one side of a car.
