Very nice. However what is truly missing is that most of the features in the app are not available in the insta360 studio software. This has been a big problem for many people who are very frustrated to use the phone. Next for telemetry, the insta360 new remote control is only working with the ace pro and not for the X3. So come on, Insta360 could become world leader if they truly enhance the studio software with all the shotlabs, colourgrading etc from the app. And update the remote control! Also fix that the dji mic 2 will work via bluetooth with the ace pro
Dji mic 2 works on my X3. Its learned as "airpods"
Motion ND is available in studio software.
@@travel4food4life thanks and all others like labshots, color grading are all missing in the studio software. Insta360 could become worldleader with their equipment, but studio software is preventing this due to lack of functionality

Do I understand correctly that if you control the camera with the mobile phone application, it can receive the GPS data of the mobile phone?

Silly question (but then again I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to these cameras)
If you film in 8K and downscale the footage to 4K in post and film in 5.3K on GoPro 12 and downscale that to 4K in post, will the downscaled 8K video look better/more detailed than the downscaled 5.3K video because it was originally filmed in 8K ?
Also I'm going to Tenerife in May and August and want to take either the ACE Pro or GoPro 12 with me to film just outdoor stuff (no action sports or biking or watersports)
Which would be a better purchase for general use based on my needs for outdoor shooting?

Can you take the SD card out of your phone and use it in a tablet or transfer the files to your tablet and be able to use studio software? I'd much prefer using the app on a tablet

Hello. I edited the video using the app inside the phone, but in the final file, the Lego camera and the word shot on are placed at the bottom of the video. How can I remove this lego from the image? Can I publish this video with this lego on CZcams??

I can't get GPS data from my smartphone.... I have an ace pro and S23 Ultra..... Does it work with Samsung Smartphone?
The way to cut clips is actually a bit awkward: I'm used to trimming, cutting away footage I DON'T need. I usually remember parts to throw away and then work on the rest.
Now the way the Insta app works is JumpCutting the parts you want to keep. So you almost have to scrub through your whole footage not to miss any parts. I hope it's clear and a good observation.

Sure thing! As long as the data was captured by having the phone running while the camera is recording then you'll be fine.

I tried and tried to use this app nope.. couldn’t figure it out . I like the camera my ace pro but much easier just to export photos to my GoPro quick app and make automatic highlight reel…. 🤷♂️
Ive heard someone state that the Ace Pro is only 8 bit color....no flat 10 bit LOG profile....is this true?
