Even though I'm waiting for the remote controller restock. I think the motion controller is a must-have right now. I'm just starting FPV and I'm not thinking about using the controller for indoors or very precise shooting

Thanks Stewart. Great review. I was flying my Phantom 4 at the beach in North Carolina last week. 15 to 20 knot winds and it was rock steady just like the Mavic.

Hi Stewart, the wee Avata done well in that wind but the Mavic 3 came in clutch as usual, I've had it off the West Coast of Ireland in 50+ mph gusts and it handled it with ease.

Nice one! You can take the Laddie to Spain but you can't take the love of the highlands out of him!
Avata must be fun to fly but you proved that the Mavic is better for videography.

Heading to Scotland with mine tomorrow, shooting some videos around Glencoe area this was useful research! I think think motion controller is underrated. I can fly manually not I’m not amazing, the motion controller lets me get shots I could get manually

do the goggles provide stereo images?
I wish the Mini Pro and the Avata or FPV drone had a baby, or if they could bring features, shots, and more controller support to the Avata. The Avata looks like a tun of fun and my trigger finger is itching to purchase but I wonder if the mini pro would be better for me. I want to get into FPV, the Avata seems to be the best option while I think it's overpriced.

Fantastic video and great range and wind tests! I did my Avata maiden just last week. I’m very impressed with it and had some strong winds- nothing like what you was testing in 😂 Great to watch. Please check out my maiden if you can. Again awesome video- keep them coming. 👍

The DJI Avata is complete garbage. Bought one and it wouldn’t stay connected. The video feed and motion controller lagged and kept flying the drone into trees. This video is fake. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
