After 4 years of non use, I have the Fireblade up & running.. That's the carbs off and cleaned (multiple times in the sonic bath, new o rings etc..), new oil, filter & coolant. Completed the bike in a REPSOL scheme as I fancied a different look.. All the original fairing & tank is with the bike also. Next, MOT & list for sale

While I absolutely love these 3, I’d take the TL1000R. That bike just looks the nuts, and the sound of that V twin 🤤
@@gdfggggg Cheers mate, well spotted! The TLR is an epic bike to look at, ride and listen to.. Mine has 15k miles and fitted with Yoshimura exhausts, & it sounds so good.. I love riding it, and setting off car alarms as I ride past! 😂 I appreciate the comment my friend 😎👍🏼
I like all the bikes you have in your garage, but if I had to choose one, that's the one I'd choose
@575ban Good choice, the 12R is still a missile, even today.. & the Akrapovic sounds fantastic when you wind it on! Cheers mate, appreciate the comment 👍
Every bike is beautiful.
@@olescorpions658 Cheers mate.. I love each and every bike I have. They all get started & ridden at various times.. If I’m not riding them, I’m working on them & polishing them 🤩🤙🏽
@@waynester71 I have a cbr1100xx 1998 , I live in Thailand.
Tl1000R , Love it
@@olescorpions658 Thanks man, the TLR has definitely improved with age.. & it sounds so good with the Yoshi’s 😎 Cheers for commenting 👍🏼
Not sure if it’s the exhaust or echoing off the beautiful bikes but sounds great
Thanks, phone mic's don't pick up just how loud this bike is.. the neighbours love it! 😂
Zxr, because I have two🤣
@S.and.K-Works Brilliant, that's how it's done! 🙌😄 I quite like the idea of buying a red/black H1 as well 😁👍
@@waynester71 one totally standard, but with 57k on, and still on original clutch. The other been played with and close to TT specs, but with 17k on.😂 Both green.
Posiadam taką samą zieloną bestię ❤
You know how fantastic this bike is 😁 23 years old, but as fast as today's sportbikes! 😎👌 I appreciate the comment 🙏
love my analogue vfr750
I had a 89 zxr 750 H1 streetfighter, strong motor. Now have a 95 gsxr750 which I'm keeping. Would probably choose the zxr out of these 3, because of fond memories.
@@MHLivestreams Good choice mate..both bikes. Love a gixxer 750👌🏼 I bought the ZXR for the same reason, fond memories of owning one 30 years ago.. and it doesn’t disappoint even today, love riding it 😁 Cheers for the comment bro, much appreciated 😎👊🏼
Absolutely loved my 96 GSXR in the day. Mind you it did then lead on to a even bigger love my TL1000S! Still these bike are now of an age to qualify for club registration here in Australia. The Gixxer siren call is ringing in my ears!!!
@chrisfrank6449 Cheers buddy, the GSXR is still a serious tool on the road, & fast for a 750! The TLS is also epic, especially that engine.. I also have a TL1000R which sounds amazing with the twin Yoshi's fitted.. but you'll be familiar with that sound 😁👌 There's always space for a 2nd bike/GSXR 😉 Ride safe my friend 😎
There all a great buy. Hard to be disappointed with any of these 90s bikes. Buy one of each!
@@tonypalermo5796 Lol, exactly 😄👌🏼 Cheers Tony 😎👍🏼
Had one of these great bikes always loved vfrs this one looks like a gem sounds amazing as well
Can’t go past the quintessentially understated late 80s aesthetics of the ZXR and its raw muscular form (Biased of course!) but I’d love to take your GSXR for a rip!😁👊
@kawakarma I know you know 👌😄 I love mine.. It'll always be my favourite bike (unless I finally get my hands on an RC30 😄)...The GSXR is a brilliant bike, for sure quicker, & handles better than the ZXR.. They're relatively cheap to buy too so..get one bought 😉👍
You got very lucky finding that bike. Owned one when nearly new. I eventually bought a 1995 vfr 750 brand new. Sold that after test riding a 1998 vfr 800. Of the 3, it’s tough to choose between them. All different. The 1998 vfr 800 was the most sorted in stock form. Also the easiest to lose your license on. It masked speed eerily well. It sucked you into rolling down 2-lane roads at 85-90 while feeling like 55-60. That’s actually why I sold it. Along with my 1993 Ducati 888. Neither of the bikes was particularly fast in the Gixxer sense, but they both just lulled into this la de da sense that you were just pooling along, when in fact you were in go-to-jail territory. Now in my 60’s, I ride an old air cooled 1990 Moto guzzi lemans 1000 and a 91 Ducati 900ss. Any more motor than these bikes have is pointless on public roads, imo. YMMV, obviously.
@user-hh9cu2px9g Thanks for the comment my friend.. & I absolutely did get lucky with the VFR, low miles & completely original, including the long rear mudguard (not fitted, but goes with the bike). I almost purchased an earlier VFR, an '89, gen 2 I think? It was also white, and looked great..from 5 meters away. So I'm glad I passed on it & found this RC36. 👍 I have never owned a VFR, so I'm learning about them daily.. A Ducati 888 is up there as one of my top 4 bikes, particularly the SP's, beautiful bikes! I totally agree with re: bikes with a licence losing propensity.. but at 52 my crazy days are behind me, & I'm happy just to pootle around 😊 That's a lovely pair of bikes you have, the '91 900SS is an underrated Ducati, it still has that old school aircooled vibe. Ride safe on them my friend, & thanks for the comment...always appreciated 😊👍
Nice VFR but I’d love to have that ZX7!
@fw1421 Cheers mate.. That is my absolute favourite bike to look at and ride 😁 Put it this way, it's the first I'd rescue in a (God forbid) fire, & the last I'd sell... Thanks for the comment, much appreciated 👍
What a garage!
@Opo993 Thanks man, I am blessed... It's my happy place. There's always something that needs doing 😁👍 Appreciate the comment 🙏
I do love the look of the GSXR. The high rear seat cover as well.
@MW-ow8ew Cheers mate, the SRAD does have a marmite rear end, much like the Hayabusa & TLR.. some love, some hate.. but I think it's great. It's a brilliant bike to ride as well! Thanks for commenting, really appreciate 🙏
Suzuki for me 💯
@@alfiebrindle4537 Good shout, it’s almost as quick as the Blade, and handles superbly… A great bike to ride for sure 👍🏼 Cheers Alfie for the comment 😎👊🏼
@@waynester71 Thnx for replying and yea quick that gsx ,I think it looks the best also 😍
Very nice. I'd take the Fire blade out. The ZXR used to scare the living daylights out of me.
Cheers mate, the Fireblade is still a brilliant bike to ride, & a bit quicker than the ZXR 😉 They all ride great though, even today.. Appreciate the comment my friend 👍
I found the forks made it a bit flighty, so would change them for newer upside down.
Love to ride all 3 of em mate. That garage of yours is one wicked Toy box 😎
Cheers buddy, they keep me in my happy place.. 😁👍
Amazing bikes. I just bought a tl1000r 99 here in sweden recently in ok condition
Thanks filip, really appreciate that 🙏 You've purchased yourself a fantastic bike, I love my TLR.. congrats 😊👌
I’m the same colour as the Ninja !
Wow love it, I have a 97 model, but I love this one.
Cheers Neil, they’re great bikes aren’t they? Glad I’ve finally got myself a nice VFR.. I’m looking forward to riding it…once the UK weather improves of course 🤦🏻🌧️😁👍🏼
@waynester71 hopefully lol, I put a new shock on my it transformed the bike. ,I haven't ridden mine much lately but seeing your beautiful vfr750 has pushed me into getting mine out changing the oil and filter and giving it a good clean and pamper
You Lucky Duck! For An Old Guy, These Are So Much Better Than Most Of The "New" Over-Engineered Machines That Are Available! Thank You. (Like #180)
Cheers buddy, much appreciated 👍🏼 This is my my first VFR, and it’s only once you look closely and ride one that you see how good Honda made it.. I’ll be hanging onto this bike for a while 😄👌🏼
@@waynester71 As Well You Should! Back In '87 & '88 I Had A 500 Interceptor. If We Only Knew Then What We Know Now, Huh!?! Thanks Very Much!
Absolutely beautiful. In '91 it was the red one that took my fancy. Is it expensive in the UK to keep bikes on the road with road tax/registration? Here in Queensland, Australia, the annual tax for a bike is similar to a car!
Thanks bro, much appreciated.. I like the red too, but it was always a white VFR that I wanted. I just love the clean look of them. 😁 It can be just as expensive here too.. bike tax is/was generally cheaper than a car, but cars are now taxed based on their emissions, so it could be £20/year or £700+/year for a car.. Bikes are based on cc, so around £117/year for a 600cc & above. But I only tax mine for 6 months during summer. In the winter you can take them off the road and declare a SORN (statutory off road notification) which is free once declared. On top of that there is the yearly safety check, MOT.. so it starts to add up. Governments mate, it seems no matter the country, they know how to shaft their motorists and citizens for every penny they have! 😏 Appreciate the comment my friend 😁👍🏼
Nice bikes. I have a 98 FireBlade and it's a good bike, handles well but the engine isn't the best. You need a 98 R1 to put things in perspective, it's on a different level.
Cheers mate, true.. the R1's engine steps all over the Blades.. I bought an '01 in 2002, px'd my 916 for it.. Nice bike, but wish I'd kept the 916 tbh, especially given prices now for them 💁♂️
I had the TLR Als Corona Extra paint job with golden coloured Microns, what a sound ,what a bike.liked and sub'd. Cool collection ✌from Germany.
Ahh, that sounds like a very nice TLR, and you're absolutely right, the sound is so good...I love when it sets off car alarms 😂👌 Thank you so much for the comment and the sub, it's really appreciated 😁🙏
Hi. That is a very nice machine. Looks superb in white and runs as sweet as a nut. A keeper for sure and will only increase in value as the years go by. I love Honda V4s, having owned a '97 VFR750FA and two VFR1200Fs. Good luck with the ownership and no need to apologise for being a clean freak, as I'm a chip off the same block! Take care.
Cheers David, it's always good to hear from those who have owned these bikes themselves.. I have really clicked with this bike, it just looks & rides, so well.. Thanks for commenting.. Off I go to polish some more 😄👍
Fantastic colour great condition great find
Cheers dude.. Definitely, i just really wanted a white VFR.. It looks so clean, I love it 😁 Appreciate the comment my friend 👍
Can’t go wrong with the vfr
Absolutely...I'm really happy to find this bike.. my new favourite 😍 Cheers mate 👍
I do own a 98 gsxr750 haven’t got it going as yet but that zxr H2 looks amazing
Cheers mate, the ZXR is my favourite..but the SRAD is a brilliant bike to ride.. definitely need to get yours up & running 😎👌
Now on my second RC36! Best all round motorcycle I ever owned. That one of yours is immaculate for its year, even better than mine! Enjoy it and look after it and it will serve you well for many years.
Thanks Ade, I am definitely going to hang onto this one.. The exhaust system is in great condition, but I have ordered the Black Widow stainless steel manifold..you can’t go wrong with shiny down pipes 😁👌🏼 I wish I had bought one of these years ago though.. brilliant bike! Cheers for commenting my friend 😎🤙🏽
Still enough power to get you into serious trouble! Beautiful bike, the new owner will be a lucky guy.
Exactly right, wind the throttle on & the Fireblade can still move! 🔥 On the road, it's all you need tbh Cheers dude 👍
You’re now the proud owner of arguably the best motorcycle ever built. I too have a ‘91 VFR RC36 and it’s still a brilliantly modern motorcycle. 150,000 of virtually trouble free kilometres! It’s a keeper, as you’ll find out! The CBR1000F is another great motorcycle, I had a ‘91 in white, blue and red. Sorry today I sold it.
Thanks mate. That's brilliant.. I'm amazed at the mileage VFRs can do, without bother too. I am really pleased with finding this example.. My first ride was everything I thought it would be! 👍 I'll be holding onto mine as well for many years. I bought the CBR1000F last year.. another excellent bike.. 😊
Looks like it just rolled off the line
Cheers mate.. I'm really pleased with this bike. I took the fairings off & it's just as clean underneath 😁
That vfr is badass!!
Cheers dude.. I love it, I should've bought one years ago 😁👍
I bought a new ZX10 and my friend bought a ZXR 750 back in 1990, they were the same price £8500 IR. He said he was going for handling, not power. We were riding at 60 mph along a straight country road, he got a huge tank slapper.
I had a similar experience in 1991 when I bought my first ZXR, and remember very well having a bar to bar end tank slap! The OG ZX10 was a beast of a bike too.. I had a GPZ1000RX 10 years ago, that predated the ZX10.. heavy bike, but quick in a straight line 😄👍
@@waynester71 The RX was a lemon, though my buddy loves them and has 6 of them now. I fitted a ZZR1100 block and head on my ZX10 and bored it to 1109cc, stage 7 Dynojet kit, and lots more. 138 at the wheel up from 118. The ZX headlight was the best ever with 100W or 140W mains. The ZX cracks the rear engine mounts. I had a GPZ900 with an Eagle 4-1 and a Ledar carb kit. Nothing could better my top speed, 750 turbo's, GSX-R 1100 slabbies etc. I hit 165mph on the clock. I have a 2020 S1000RR M Package now at 63 yo.
Looks great 👍 👌 😀 👏 😊 🙌
Cheers Chris, much appreciated mate 😁👍
Wow. Looks like it’s straight out of the packet brand new. Awesome bike .
Cheers Philip, much appreciated my friend.. It really is such a nice bike to ride..& just look at and polish 😄👍🏼
Oldest girl gets my attention, something about those eyes and that rear end of hers... although suzuki is quite voluptuous too...
Oh my, that is a good looking VFR! Great find, I hope it serves you well.
Thank you my friend, I’m hoping to keep this bike for many years.. it’s just so good. I should have bought one years ago 😁👍🏼
I have had a lot of superbikes in my time but I have to say nothing rides as nice as a Honda in my opinion that is a lovely example of a vfr750 enjoy.
Thank you my friend, I’m really pleased to find a good one.. I’ll be holding onto this bike for many years hopefully 😁👍🏼
I think it is the best bike in the world. I own one of these 😅
I am becoming equally convinced 😄 The original exhaust is in great condition, but I have just bought a Black Widow stainless steel manifold, so at least then the front 2 exhaust down pipes will look shiny 😁👌
Jolly nice.
Cheers Colin.. its good to let some of the ladies enjoy the sunshine 🌞 😄👍
How about that lineup. Amazing
Thank you bro.. I'd like to add a pinky YZF750 next, if I can find a nice one 😊
@@waynester71I have one coming my way soon. Always wanted one.
All three are top bikes. I prefer carbs and the CBR is tops for me here. Thanks again for sharing!
Thank you brother for commenting 😎 I can’t disagree, the Blade is still a serious tool on the roads.. Love riding it! 😁🔥
Is there a way you could video a ride of your bikes for us who haven't ridden them? I vote for the Fireblade POV first. Cheers
@@b_the_lone_wolf Funny enough, I'm looking into getting a decent GoPro to do some riding videos 😊👍
@@waynester71 👌👍
Gsxr all day
Good choice, the handling is still awesome..& it screams up top! 😎🔥
@@waynester71 yep it brings back some great memories of when I had mine
Awesome pretty condition gor a 33 years old bike...outstanding beautiful machine.
Thank you my friend, it really is in wonderful condition for 33 years of age.. not so many like this anymore. I have just ordered a stainless steel manifold that fits the oem silencers, so it will look shinier underneath 😄👌🏼 Appreciate the comment 😎🙏🏽
Now you cannot ride it
I cannot, why? I have ridden it a few times already, and it rides brilliant
Beautiful machine in pristine condition 👌 Ride safe !
Thanks MrJdh… Considering she’s 33 years old, she’s not bad.. I’m a bit of a polisher too so, I love my bikes to look sparkly 😄 Much appreciated comment my friend, ride safe too 👍🏼
@waynester71 in that case drop by whenever you're in Holland so you can polish my red VFR 800 FI 😉 Cheers
