You have a very nice collection! I owned a zx12r. Amazing bike! So comfortable to ride and dead easy to do insane speeds. I sold it because I was doing too many illegal things on the public road. But I absolutely still miss it and maybe I shouldn't have sold it. aaahh well.

OMG!!! I owned 2 ZXR750H2 one red and one in green, awesome 90s endurance style bikes with those 'works' style hoover intakes and the sound from the stock can was blinding. Owned the 95 foxeye Fireblade too, another great machine, light nimble and bloody quick. Owned that GSXR750SRAD too but with the short wheelbase and a throttle that felt like a switch, it popped the front all too easy, plus I had a little trouble with the fuel injection from new. As much as I absolutely love those old bikes, the new breed are on another planet when it comes to performance. My bikes now are a 2014 Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC and a 2017 RSV4RF. You have some tasty classics there Sir.

I bought my first when I was just 20 years old back in the early 90s..the insurance killed me! 😂 Your Aprilia’s are something else, very nice bikes.. I recently sold an RSV Factory, with the v twin motor. Never tried a V4, but they do sound incredible! I tend to like collecting the older bikes now, they just bring back the memories..and they are still ‘relatively’ easy to work on myself… Appreciate the comment. Ride safe my friend. 👍🏼
So cool this vid popped up on my feed! Liked and subbed! I had a poster of that exact ZXR 750 with the green wheels in my bedroom as a kid growing up in the states in Philadelphia. Man brings me back to my childhood. Now I'm 48 with a mix of harleys and sportbikes in my garage. Luckily I married a cool chick who thinks six bikes are not too many lol. I am a lucky bloke as you guys say. Also, just goes to show that the love of these bikes can bring people together from all over the world! Fantastic collection. They are mint!

This makes me happy. These are the bikes that were around when i first started getting anto motorcycles, even before I was able to buy my first. Back when i had to learn about them from magazines. Even though i live in the U.S., it was always the British mags (Bike and Performance Bikes) i loved the most the most because they were informative and entertaining. That TL1000R is my fantasy bike. Keep doing what you've doing taking great care of these historic pieces and sharing them with us!

I would read about these kind of bikes in the magazines…but back then there was no way I could afford any of them as a broke 20 year old! 😄 My favourite bike is the ZXR as I had one many years ago and I just have an emotional connection to it.. Cheers mate, the early ZXR’s are definitely gaining interest as a classic bike.. I had a few H2’s previously and an H1.. other than RC30, they’re my favourite bikes to own. The TLR is as you say.. just music when it’s started up. The twin Yoshi’s sound epic.. Both awesome bikes, but I’m biased 😂👍🏼

You had all the best 2-pokes!! I've only had a licence for 6 years, I think I'm somehow making up for lost years unspent. Only recently picked up the CBX1050. Yes, inline 6. It's way before my time (born in 82). But bought it to safeguard money out the bank, and because of the potential sound! Have a new exhaust waiting to get fitted once the time arrives. Should sound like a screaming and howling F1 car coming at you 😂

I thought I was mad with 3 bikes😂, it's hard working staying on top of them keeping them mint, and expensive, i have a 02 zx7r not very comfortable to ride over distance nore the fastest bike out there but its still my favorite and a big head turner, thanks for sharing👍

All for the price of a Ducati V4 SP ,, I've a K6GSXR 1000 and a n SV 1000 very much modified, ohlins light weight forged aluminium wheels,, Yoshi cans ,, older bikes way better for me 👍☘️☘️☘️☘️ from northern Ireland,, great collection 👍

Congratulations on your selection. I would only trade a Honda CBR 1000 F for a CBR 1100 XX in the last year of production. The rest are all good choices. Both Kawasakis and especially the Suzuki TL 1000 R. Good luck and never sell any of those bikes. When I have a big dream about motorbikes, it looks just like in this video. Good luck ! ( - :

I guess you could say I’m a bit of a 90’s bike fan though, hence 6 of them crammed into my garage! 😄 I’ll definitely be hanging onto them though..and knowing me, squeezing a 7th in! 😁

Thanks mate, yeah I’m quite lucky in that the wife is happy for me to do my thing..as long as it keeps me occupied and happy 😊 I insure mine with BeMoto, on a multi bike policy.. This year though I have only insured to ride the TLR, CBR1000F and the ZXR. The other bikes I have serviced & mothballed for this year.. I tend to rotate each year what bikes I want to ride. BeMoto do lower cost policies for non riding/stored bikes that I am going to arrange. The cost this year was £370 fully comp with pillion included. Prices have shot up this year though, so having some NCB helps for sure! Thanks for the comment Matt, much appreciated. I will look forward to seeing your growing collection 😊👊🏼

I considered a ZZR1100 before I bought the CBR1000F…good bikes, but I always wanted to try the CBR.. it was just an itch I needed to scratch 😄 They’re big girls too & space is a bit tight with the other bikes 😁 Thanks for the suggestion and comment 👍🏼

@@woooster71 They do sound fantastic. Mine also came with the stock exhaust. I thought about putting them on but i just can't do it. Mine has 13k on the clock. I've been slowly going over it. It is a clean bike for the age and mine is yellow and black. It originally had a D&D full system but I hated the pipes. So I put some Scorpion mufflers on it. Sounds so much better.
@@rm25088 Love the yellow TLRs too 👍🏼😎 I debated whether to get a yellow one or the traditional blue/white Suzuki colours.. This one popped up as immaculate with full history so I snapped it up! 😁 Its odd how they weren’t that successful when new, but now they have become quite cult and collectible today! Thank you my friend, i quite agree.. Modern bikes today don’t interest me so much. They all seem alike, nothing about them really appeals, especially aesthetics. You are correct re: usability, all you need is some decent power, a decent chassis and brakes..and a bike that looks visually attractive. Power of 220bhp+ today cannot truly be used on the road. It’s too much. Suzuki are great bikes though, i only have the 2, the SRAD & TLR.. though i would quite like a GSXR1100M 😊 Thanks for the comment.. it’s always appreciated 😎👍🏼

13 bikes! That is quite a collection, kudos my friend 👏🏼 I would dearly love to add to my collection, but I am limited by space in my small garage. I have tried to convince the wife that a 7th bike would look just great in the dining room..but alas, I have not been successful 😄 I will need to sell a bike if I wanted something different. I am in the middle of restoring the Fireblade. I am just waiting for the fuel tank to come back from the paint shop. I may sell this then..and perhaps find a nice GSXR1100 😁 The new Busa is quite the machine. I like that Suzuki decided to still continue with this model even with the advent of more powerful, faster Sportbikes. Maybe you could film a video when you get it? @@woooster71 Bascially, you need to keep the bike insured all year round, plus it needs to pass MOT every year, even if you don't ride on it. Perhaps some Suzuki would be a great addition to your collection, first generation Busa (gold and silver - so hard to find one).

Rego? In the UK, Bike tax or insurance costs? I have a multi bike insurance policy which was around £320 this year.. each bike costs £65/6 months.. Not exactly cheap, but not the worst

I am probably selling the Fireblade in the NY, and maybe replace with another GSXR, hopefully the 1100M

Suzuki GSXR1100m is a fine and tasteful choice! Transverse inline 4, massive CC!! That bike will have some grunt throughout the range!

I've only had a licence for 6 years, I think I'm somehow making up for lost years unspent.
Only recently picked up the CBX1050. Yes, inline 6. It's way before my time (born in 82). But bought it to safeguard money out the bank, and because of the potential sound! Have a new exhaust waiting to get fitted once the time arrives. Should sound like a screaming and howling F1 car coming at you 😂

I thought I was mad with 3 bikes😂, it's hard working staying on top of them keeping them mint, and expensive, i have a 02 zx7r not very comfortable to ride over distance nore the fastest bike out there but its still my favorite and a big head turner, thanks for sharing👍

All for the price of a Ducati V4 SP ,, I've a K6GSXR 1000 and a n SV 1000 very much modified, ohlins light weight forged aluminium wheels,, Yoshi cans ,, older bikes way better for me 👍☘️☘️☘️☘️ from northern Ireland,, great collection 👍

Congratulations on your selection. I would only trade a Honda CBR 1000 F for a CBR 1100 XX in the last year of production. The rest are all good choices. Both Kawasakis and especially the Suzuki TL 1000 R. Good luck and never sell any of those bikes. When I have a big dream about motorbikes, it looks just like in this video. Good luck ! ( - :

I guess you could say I’m a bit of a 90’s bike fan though, hence 6 of them crammed into my garage! 😄 I’ll definitely be hanging onto them though..and knowing me, squeezing a 7th in! 😁

1 genuine question I have for you though, as I have similar plans but presently I’m 4 bikes down on you, what do you do insurance wise? Is it just 1 multi bike policy, or are you doing individual policies? Also if you wouldn’t mind disclosing how much to insure the full collection annually? I insure mine with BeMoto, on a multi bike policy.. This year though I have only insured to ride the TLR, CBR1000F and the ZXR. The other bikes I have serviced & mothballed for this year.. I tend to rotate each year what bikes I want to ride. BeMoto do lower cost policies for non riding/stored bikes that I am going to arrange.
The cost this year was £370 fully comp with pillion included. Prices have shot up this year though, so having some NCB helps for sure!

I considered a ZZR1100 before I bought the CBR1000F…good bikes, but I always wanted to try the CBR.. it was just an itch I needed to scratch 😄 They’re big girls too & space is a bit tight with the other bikes 😁

@@woooster71 They do sound fantastic. Mine also came with the stock exhaust. I thought about putting them on but i just can't do it. Mine has 13k on the clock. I've been slowly going over it. It is a clean bike for the age and mine is yellow and black. It originally had a D&D full system but I hated the pipes. So I put some Scorpion mufflers on it. Sounds so much better.

This one popped up as immaculate with full history so I snapped it up! 😁 Its odd how they weren’t that successful when new, but now they have become quite cult and collectible today! Thank you my friend, i quite agree.. Modern bikes today don’t interest me so much. They all seem alike, nothing about them really appeals, especially aesthetics. You are correct re: usability, all you need is some decent power, a decent chassis and brakes..and a bike that looks visually attractive. Power of 220bhp+ today cannot truly be used on the road. It’s too much.
Suzuki are great bikes though, i only have the 2, the SRAD & TLR.. though i would quite like a GSXR1100M 😊

13 bikes! That is quite a collection, kudos my friend 👏🏼 I would dearly love to add to my collection, but I am limited by space in my small garage. I have tried to convince the wife that a 7th bike would look just great in the dining room..but alas, I have not been successful 😄
I will need to sell a bike if I wanted something different. I am in the middle of restoring the Fireblade. I am just waiting for the fuel tank to come back from the paint shop. I may sell this then..and perhaps find a nice GSXR1100 😁
The new Busa is quite the machine. I like that Suzuki decided to still continue with this model even with the advent of more powerful, faster Sportbikes. Maybe you could film a video when you get it?

@@woooster71 Bascially, you need to keep the bike insured all year round, plus it needs to pass MOT every year, even if you don't ride on it. Perhaps some Suzuki would be a great addition to your collection, first generation Busa (gold and silver - so hard to find one).

Rego? In the UK, Bike tax or insurance costs? I have a multi bike insurance policy which was around £320 this year.. each bike costs £65/6 months.. Not exactly cheap, but not the worst
