    Lovely bike! Lucky man. I would love to own this. Like that it is in almost original condition (the Yoshi is thumbs up from me). It is so rare to see these icons in this condition

      Thanks mate, really appreciate that😁👍🏼 TLR’s really are awesome, I know they draw some marmite opinions, but the bike looks and rides so good in my opinion.. I have the oem exhausts stored away so it can be put back to completely standard fairly quickly.. but the Yoshi’s sound so good, that’s hard to do 😄
      Thanks for the comment my friend 🤙🏽

    Love it. I haven't taken mine out since I got my new bike. I need to get a power commander for it and install some parts I bought. It is a 2003 with 13k miles and pretty damn clean. D and D headers with scorpion slip ons, air box mod, filter, tre, and I bought block off plates for the emissions crap.

      @woooster71  Před rokem +1

      Cheers. Sounds like you’ll have a very nice sorted TLR! Mine’s a ‘99 with 15k miles. Your ‘03 is the last year of production I believe?
      I love the sound these bikes make.. significantly better than my old RSV Factory with carbon Akra’s!

      @@woooster71 The sound is the whole reason why I wanted one since I was 12 back in 2000. Yeah 2003 was the last year unfortunately. Not much changed at all from 1998-2003. Just some tweaks to the ecu I believe. I think they are the best sounding bike ever made. Better than the RC51. So deep and throaty.

    Imagine this bike with custom made Racefit Growler silencers. It can be done.

      I can only imagine the sound! 😄 It's loud as it is with just the Yoshimuras! 😊👍

    A great looking bike. Always liked the styling . Let down by the rear shock arrangement.

    • @woooster71
      @woooster71  Před 5 měsíci

      Thanks, yes I have always been a fan of the TLR.. I had an Aprilia Gen 2 RSV Factory previous, and I much prefer the TL.. it sounds significantly better for a start. The rear shock didn’t quite work out for Suzuki, having a propensity to over heat.. but tbh, I don’t push the bike hard enough on the road for it to become an issue. Track days would probably be different..
      Thanks for the comment though, much appreciated 👍🏼

      People keep saying that but I never had a problem with mine. Maybe its because im a lot lighter than the average man. Dunno. Still want a sprinkle of Ohlins though haha

      @@richardbirch4115 Me either and I've done a few track days on mine too. The only time I've ever noticed it get a bit overwhelmed was on a very hot day after a long fast ride on some undulating roads (North York Moors), but it was nothing to write home about, it just felt a bit wooden with too much rebound damping. Never had an issue on track or smoother roads, its plenty good enough for a normal to fast rider.

      The trioval do look good, but I'm happy with the standard, classic muffler look for this bike.. The important thing is they sound good 😎

    What a completely boring video, if you're going to do an exhaust review, do a fly by.
